Apple has posted a QuickTime stream of Phil Schiller’s keynote at Apple Expo in Paris, where he introduced the new iMac G5. The stream is broadcast in MPEG-4 and requires QuickTime 6.

Apple has announced the winners of its “Present Your Passion” contest, which sought original Keynote presentations from users on the things they love most. Apple has released Keynote 1.1.1, the latest version of its popular presentation software. The new update improves stability and includes several user experience enhancements including a preference to control cube and flip transition clipping individually, according to Apple. Mac OS X 10.2.8 or later is required with version 1.1.1 of Keynote. The 31MB download is currently only available via the Mac OS X Software Update preference pane.

Keynote Theme Park has announced the release of “Basic Research,” a new Keynote theme that acts as the foundation for a series of upcoming products designed for the medical, health, dental, science and architectural fields. The theme is priced at US$12.95.

Apple today released Keynote 1.1, the latest version of its popular presentation software. The update brings improved PowerPoint import and export compatibility, enhanced performance of imported QuickTime video, and an option to maintain 3D transitions within projected screen area (non-clipping rotation).

Apple today released the first update to Keynote, the company’s new presentation software. “Keynote 1.0.1 is the world wide release of Keynote. This update provides support for the following languages: Japanese, French, German, Dutch, Italian, and Spanish.”

Apple today confirmed the problems that some customers are experiencing with Keynote, its new presentation software, reports c|net. “Apple has identified a bug in the driver software for certain ATI graphics chips which can affect a small number of systems when used with Keynote,” the company said. “Apple is working on an updated driver which should be available to customers shortly.” Read More

Users of Keynote, Apple’s new presentation software that was introduced earlier this month at Macworld Expo, are complaining of a host of problems with the application, the most severe of which being reports that it is prone to crashes that can take down the entire Mac OS X operating system, reports c|net.

Apple today announced Keynote, a “new generation of presentation software that brings the ability to create stunning, professional-quality presentations to everyone.” Keynote includes professionally designed themes, amazing typography, pro-quality image resizing, animated charts and tables that can be created in seconds, and cinematic-quality transitions.

IDG World Expo today announced that Apple CEO Steve Jobs will once again deliver the opening keynote address at Macworld Conference and Expo/San Francisco on Tuesday, January 7, 2003 at 9:00 AM PT. Macworld Conference and Expo will take place January 6-10, 2003 at The Moscone Center in San Francisco. Apple has not yet released plans to stream the event via QuickTime or broadcast via satellite.
