Apple to address Jaguar security problems

In a statement given to MacMinute on Friday, Apple said that it will fix the security flaws in Mac OS X Jaguar (v10.2.8 and lower) that were uncovered earlier this week. The company also addressed concerns that it would not release any further updates to Jaguar now that Mac OS X 10.3 Panther is available. “Apple’s policy is to quickly address significant vulnerabilities in past releases of Mac OS X wherever feasible,” Apple said in the statement.
