Waterfall Software today released iVideo 3.0, a free update to its advanced video organizer and player for Mac OS X. Version 3.0 offers major speed improvements, an updated user interface, seamless drag and drop to other applications, support for more file formats, and other enhancements and bug fixes. iVideo 3.0 requires Mac OS 10.2 or higher and is priced at US$19.95.

Waterfall Software today released iVideo 2.5, a significant update to its advanced video organizer and player for Mac OS X. Version 2.5 adds a new feature called “Sharing,” which allows users to seamlessly share movies across a local network. Once enabled, shared playlists automatically appear in iVideo on other Macs within a network. Other new features include multiple library support, three types of libraries to choose from, a live searching feature, and other enhancements and bug fixes.

Version 2.0 features a revamped user interface, video exporting, a new “Gallery” view that displays both a thumbnail and information about the video, a rating system, a “Quick Search” feature, several bug fixes, and more. In addition, iVideo 2.0 has a new database format that is more stable than in previous versions, according to the developer. Version 2.0 is a free upgrade to registered users, and US$16.95 for new users.

Waterfall Software today released iVideo 1.5, an update to its easy-to-use movie organizer. The new version brings compatibility with Mac OS X 10.3 Panther, major speed upgrades throughout the application, individual movie previews, a new keyword system, an export to iMovie feature, menu dock, and more. iVideo is US$16.95 shareware.

Waterfall Software has released iVideo 1.0, a new application for managing movie collections. iVideo “keeps movies the same way Apple’s iPhoto keeps pictures,” according to the developer. iVideo supports QuickTime Movies, MPEGs, MP4s, AVIs and even DV Streams. iVideo is US$16.95 shareware.
