Native Instruments today announced the availability of Guitar Rig 1.1, which combines software with a sturdy foot controller to form a professional modular guitar studio that is versatile and easy to use. Version 1.1 includes a fourth amp module based on the Vox AC-30, three new effect units, and various other minor improvements, cosmetic changes and fixes. Guitar Rig 1.1 is a free update for registered users and carries a suggested retail price of US$499 or €449. A demo version of Guitar Rig 1.1 is also available.

Native Instruments has announced Guitar Rig, which combines software with a sturdy foot controller to form a professional modular guitar studio that is versatile and easy to use. Guitar Rig “offers an arsenal of classic and modern guitar amplifiers, cabinets, microphones and effects, which can be freely combined in a virtual rack — letting guitarists easily create any guitar setup imaginable,” notes the company. Guitar Rig is expected to be available in June 2004 for a suggested retail price of US$499 or €449.
