Gefen releases audio distribution amplifiers
Gefen is offering new audio distribution amplifiers that can perform double duty — splitting one analog audio signal multiple times and enabling the long-distance extension of each individual output. Two new models have been released: the 1×8 Audio DA (US$199) that distributes up to eight audio outputs and the 1×16 Audio DA ($299) for up to 16 outputs. Each is equipped with one mini-stereo 35mm input interface, enabling compatibility with most personal computers’ analog audio ports, plus stereo receivers through the headphone jack.
