Gates takes aim at Jobs over portable video

In a BusinessWeek article on how Microsoft plans to steal the spotlight from Apple’s iPod with new portable video players, Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates throws a couple jabs at Apple CEO Steve Jobs, who earlier this year said that he doesn’t think “people have a burning desire to watch video on tiny little screens.” Gates says the growing phenomenon of kids watching videos during car trips is proof that there is a market for small screens.
