Fantom Drives today announced the G-Force 12 Bay Dual Ultra 160 RAID and the G-Force 12 Bay Dual loop 2Gbit Fibre Channel RAID, the latest additions to the company’s G-Force product line. The 1.44 terabyte (1440GB) units provide an “integrated hardware RAID system ideal for any Server architecture,” and handle Level 0, 1, or 5 RAID configurations.

The 480GB unit provides an “integrated hardware RAID system ideal for any FireWire enabled computer,” and handles Level 0, 1, or 5 RAID configurations. The G-Force FireWire RAID array works with Mac OS 9 or higher and Mac OS X, and is priced at US$3,295.

Fantom Drives today announced Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) compatible configurations of its premier line of FireWire and USB products with improved read and write performance. The Fantom Drives Premier line features FireWire hard drives, USB 2.0 hard drives, FireWire CD-RW, USB 2.0 CD-RW, DVD-ROM, DVD-RAM and DVD-RW drives.
