Apple, BuyMusic in billboard duel
MacMinute reader Gary Allen pointed out that Apple and BuyMusic are involved in somewhat of a “billboard duel” over their music stores: “Apple has the largest billboard on the west coast (108′ tall, 198′ wide), on the side of 10-story storage building in Hollywood, showing the iTunes Music Store guitar. In response, BuyMusic.com has just put up what is claimed to be ‘the world’s largest billboard’ (150′ tall, 60′ wide) in Times Square showing their music store spokesperson, Tommy Lee.
