DEVONtechnologies today released updates for all editions of its information manager DEVONthink and for DEVONnote (US$19.95), making them searchable through Spotlight. In addition, the freeware applications XMenu, EasyFind, ThumbsUp, and PhotoStickies are updated for Leopard as well.

DEVONtechnologies today released updates for the Professional and Professional Office editions of its professional grade information manager DEVONthink. The new version brings dedicated support for the Apple iPhone as well as a number of minor enhancements. Version 1.3.3 adds a JavaScript applet that allows to search any database from the Apple iPhone that has been shared and that has been made accessible on the Internet or on the intranet.

DEVONtechnologies today released an update to version 1.3.2 for its high-end information manager DEVONthink in both Professional and Professional Office editions. Version 1.3.2 adds support for MailTags 2.0 notes, allows to set the resolution and the compression of PDFs generated by the built-in IRIS OCR engine, and supports ExactCODE’s ExactScan software driving Avision document scanners.

DEVONtechnologies today released version 1.3 final of DEVONthink Professional and DEVONthink Professional Office, the only document and information managers for the Mac that are based on artificial intelligence. The final version of DEVONthink Professional Office adds French and Danish localizations to the additional functions over the regular Professional edition, a keyboard shortcut for the Capture function, and allows to inspect the captured image in case that optical character recognition (OCR) should fail.

DEVONtechnologies today released new versions of its personal information manager DEVONthink Personal, its intelligent notebook application DEVONnote and its popular free file-find utility EasyFind. Both applications optionally use the new look of Mail 2.0 (“Unified Title and Toolbar” look), import chat logs from iChat and Yahoo Messenger, allow users to drag text clippings and URLs directly onto their icons in the Dock, improve printing and add further minor improvements under Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger such as enhanced support for the new PDFKit.
