Zengobi today announced the availability of Curio 4.2, the latest version of their award-winning note taking, mind mapping, brainstorming, and project management application for Mac OS X 10.4 and above. Curio 4.2 now includes an integrated audio/video recorder for easy meeting and class lecture recording, and for making quick annotations. It also features manual mind map placement of branches, smarter resource inheritance, and integrated Leopard QuickLook thumbnails for assets.

Zengobi has announced the release of Curio 1.0, new Mac OS X software that “helps creative thinkers and design professionals generate, communicate, and organize their best ideas.” Curio’s freeform sketchbook environment allows users to collect images, bookmarks, documents, movies, and text clippings; take notes; and sketch with pressure-sensitive pens. It includes an integrated dossier feature with creative brief support, and a feature called “Sleuth” to make scouring the Web for inspiration easier.
