Blacksmith has released Chartsmith 1.2.3, the latest version of its popular charting and graphing application for Mac OS X. The free update enhances support for using images as an integrated feature of charts and graphs by adding image tiling, scaling, stretch to fit, and opacity controls. Blacksmith today announced that it is shipping Chartsmith 1.1, the latest release of the company’s charting and graphing software package. Version 1.1 offers several new chart types, integration with Microsoft Excel, trend lines, error bars, and more. Chartsmith is priced at US$129 — educational discounts are offered for faculty at $99 and students at $69. Blacksmith will be showcasing Chartsmith at Macworld Expo (booth #3561) this week.
