Canon rolls out new Mini-DV camcorders
Canon has introduced two new 2.2 megapixel camcorders — the Optura 30 and Optura 40 Mini DVs — that combine digital video and digital photography. Both sport a 12x Optical Zoom/240x Digital Zoom and 14x Optical Zoom/280x Digital Zoom, Canon’s Image Stabilizer technology, a new Advanced Color Control System and a 16:9 widescreen mode. Additionally, the Optura 40 camcorder features a Manual Audio Level Control. Both camcorders can capture two-megapixel (1632 x 1224) photo images, as well as 1280 x 960 and 640 x 480 resolution images.
