Apple Computer wins Apple Corps lawsuit
Apple Computer has won the lawsuit filed by Apple Corps of The Beatles fame, reports Reuters. Apple Corps originally filed the lawsuit, saying that Apple Computer violated a 1991 trademark agreement by getting into the music business. “Apple Computer argued in court hearings in London earlier this year that iTunes was primarily a data transmission service, which is permitted by the agreement,” notes the story.
