Alien Skin Software today announced Eye Candy 5: Nature, a set of 10 plug-in filters for Adobe Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, and Macromedia Fireworks. Alien Skin releases Eye Candy 5: Textures

Alien Skin Software today announced the release of Eye Candy 5: Textures (US$99), a collection of ten graphics plug-ins for Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Fireworks. The first of a three-part upgrade to Eye Candy 4000, Textures produces a variety of photo-realistic surfaces, including snake and lizard skin, fur, brick, stone and wood. The company said Textures includes settings for over 200 frequently used effects. An improved settings management system makes it easy to scroll through effects.

Alien Skin Software has announced the immediate availability of Xenofex 2, a new version of its plug-in that offers 14 effects for Photoshop, Fireworks, Paint Shop Pro, and Photoshop Elements. Completely rewritten and now compatible with Mac OS X, Xenofex 2 gives designers four new filters, 10 upgraded classics and the user-friendly Eye Candy 4000 interface. The estimated street price for Xenofex 2 is US$129.
