Yahoo! releases Yahoo! Messenger 2.5b1
Yahoo! Messenger 2.5b1 is the newest beta of Yahoo!’s instant messaging application. New features include Super Webcam, which allows users to communicate in real-time video with up to 20 FPS and a 320×240 resolution, new emoticons and emoticon selection menu, and a revised IM window with an added tool bar and support for anti-aliased text. Yahoo! Messenger is available for Mac OS 8.6 and later and Mac OS X.
