New battery-operated FireWire hard drive released
FirewireDirect.com has introduced its Spark III EmPowered (Spark EP), a new line of portable FireWire hard drives powered by a Lithium-ion rechargeable battery. The drives are small enough to fit in the palm of the hand and feature a high speed Oxford 911 ATA-5 interface. The drive’s battery is automatically recharged when connected via FireWire or with the included AC adapter.
