- 02:18 pmApple and Intel are reportedly set to rekindle their chip partnership
Macworld One of the most significant Apple announcements of recent years was the news, back in 2020, that the entire Mac lineup would transition from Intel processors to ARM-based chips of Apple’s own design. The result of this potentially risky move was a second lease of life for the Mac, and a moderate dip in Intel’s fortunes. But years after the last Intel Mac transitioned to Apple silicon, the former partners may be looking for a way to rekindle their relationship. On Friday, respected industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed on Twitter/X that Intel is now expected to take on a role within Apple’s processor supply chain within the next two years. “My latest industry surveys,” he writes, “indicate that visibility on Intel becoming an advanced-node supplier to Apple has recently improved significantly… Apple’s plan is for Intel to begin shipping its lowest-end M processor, utilizing the 18AP advanced node, as early as [the second or third quarter of 2027], but the actual timeline remains contingent on development progress.” On that timeline, the chips in question could feasibly be the M6 or M7, but clearly, this isn’t a return to the way things were. An advanced-node foundry supplier is a demotion from Intel’s former position as the main supplier of Mac chips. Rather, Intel would now be a manufacturing contract, not one involving design. Apple won’t be using Intel chips. Intel will be supplying Apple with chips of its own design. In any case, as Kuo points out, this in itself is a relatively minor change for Apple, Intel, and current chip supplier TSMC, because the lowest-end M chip (used in the MacBook Air, iPad Air, and iPad Pro) is expected to account for only around 15–20 million units in 2026 and 2027. TSMC will still be delivering most of Apple’s chips and all of the high-end ones. But it may signal intent to make bigger shifts in the future. Apple, Kuo claims, wishes to become less dependent on TSMC, not least because of the risk of tariff activity. (TSMC is based in Taiwan, while Intel is headquartered in California.) And that means Intel could secure more Apple contracts as the Cupertino firm looks to diversity its supply chain and future-proof against political or economic uncertainty.02:14 pmAirPods Cyber Monday deals: Save on AirPods Pro 3, AirPods 4, and much more

Macworld At a glanceExpert's Rating Pros Up to three 4K at 60Hz displays Informative front display 2x HDMI, 1x DisplayPort 3x 100W USB-C ports 2.5Gb Ethernet 140W PD laptop charging Clock display Cons USB-C not Thunderbolt Underpowered 160W max output Slower card readers than some Our Verdict With the smartest display we’ve seen on a dock, this is a solid choice if you want to connect three displays using dedicated video ports, but the lack of overall power lets down the otherwise appealing three 100W ports. Give it a 240W power supply and we’d rate this dock much higher. Price When Reviewed This value will show the geolocated pricing text for product undefined Best Pricing Today Price When Reviewed$299.99 Best Prices Today: Anker Prime Docking Station (14-in-1, Triple Display, DisplayLink) Retailer Price $209.99 View Deal $209.99 View Deal Anker $299.99 View Deal Price comparison from over 24,000 stores worldwide Product Price Price comparison from Backmarket The Anker Prime 14-in-1 Triple Display DisplayLink Docking Station (DL7400) is a DisplayLink docking station that brushes aside Apple’s display limitations to enable up to three external monitors via a single cable to the MacBook. To achieve this you must install free DisplayLink software on your Mac, which is reasonably painless and a one-time setup. The dock has an impressive 14 ports, including three front-mounted 100W USB-C (more on which later) and a 140W connection to the MacBook—enough to fast-charge a 16-inch MacBook Pro. A future-proof 2.5Gb Ethernet is also included for faster wired network access. It’s not Thunderbolt, but the 10Gbps USB-C is ample bandwidth for most. At the front is the smartest visual display we’ve seen on a docking station: it shows the output power and data ratings of the dock, MacBook and each port. You can also set it as a handy clock. Simon Jary Specs and features One upstream USB-C port (10Gbps, 140W) Two USB-C ports (10Gbps, 100W) One USB-C port (5Gbps, 100W) Two USB-A ports (5Gbps, 7.5W) One USB-A port (480Mbps, 4.5W) Two HDMI 2.1 video ports One DisplayLink 1.4 video port Ethernet (2.5Gb) SD card reader (UHS-I,104MBps) MicroSD card reader (UHS-I,104MBps) 3.5mm combo Audio jack (front) 160W power supply This dock connects to the computer via 10Gbps USB-C, rather than the Mac’s faster 40-80Gbps Thunderbolt ports. 10Gbps should be fast enough for most users not replying on ultra-fast external storage devices but if you require the very fastest data-transfer rates you should look for one of the best Thunderbolt docking stations. The Anker dock’s 10Gbps USB-C connection works seamlessly with the Mac’s Thunderbolt ports, but is not as fast at transferring data. However most Thunderbolt docks can’t support three external displays—in fact only the iVanky FusionDock Max 2 can do so natively (without DisplayLink), although there are DisplayLink-supporting Thunderbolt docks. The Satechi Thunderbolt 4 Docking Station with DisplayLink supports four displays for the M4/M5 MacBooks (for the M3 MacBook four displays is possible only while the laptop is shut in Clamshell Mode), with the M1 and M2 MacBooks are limited to three (one at 6K and two at 4K). At the time of writing no DisplayLink dock uses the most recent Thunderbolt 5 standard. There are six USB ports, with two USB-C offering a data-transfer rate of 10Gbps, the other USB-C and a USB-A at 5Gbps, and two weaker 480Mbps USB-A. None of the three “downstream” USB-C ports at the front support video and so are used to connect other devices such as medium-speed hard drives. The USB-A ports can be used for a mouse and keyboard if you don’t use wireless versions, older devices or flash drives. Having your always-on storage devices hanging out the front of a dock isn’t ideal from a tidiness point of view, but the space at the back is reserved for the three dedicated video ports. If possible it would be a better choice to swap the two USB-A for the more powerful USB-C. Anker Triple video options Natively (without the need for third-party software) these are the strict limits for M-series Macs, which can be fixed using a DisplayLink dock such as this: M1 MacBook Air, M2 MacBook Air and M2 MacBook Pro: Maximum one external display. M3 MacBook Air, M3 MacBook Air and M3 MacBook Pro: Maximum two external displays if MacBook lid is closed. M2 Pro MacBook Pro and M3 Pro MacBook Pro: Maximum two external displays. M4 MacBook Air, M4 MacBook Pro, M4 Pro MacBook Pro and M5 MacBook Pro: Maximum two external displays. M2 Max MacBook Pro, M3 Max MacBook Pro and M4 Max MacBook Pro: Maximum four external displays. Those limitations are tossed aside by Installing the free DisplayLink software that gives you the possibility to add up to three displays with the Anker Prime 14-in-1 DisplayLink Docking Station. Elsewhere we have more information on DisplayLink and how to connect multiple screens to an M1, M2 or M3 MacBook. DisplayLink uses clever compression technology to get around Apple’s built-in display limitations that don’t allow the MST (Multi-Stream Transport) technology that lets Windows PCs run up to four displays with ease without the need for extra software. Installing DisplayLink on your Mac isn’t difficult. Anker has an updated link with instructions. Mac users must enable Screen Recording in System Settings >Privacy & Security. “Screen Recording” sounds concerning but, don’t worry, there’s no privacy risk. The macOS requires this permission for DisplayLink to access pixels and render mirrored or extended displays over USB. No data or information is collected, and your privacy is strictly protected. While some DisplayLink docks support up to four displays—the Plugable UD-7400PD is unmatched at supporting five screens—the Anker Prime’s three will be more than enough for most people. If you need only two displays, it’s still a solid solution, with the option to add a third if required. Because it relies on dedicated video ports, users who want only two monitors will be wasting one of the available ports. The front USB-C ports don’t support video output, being limited to charging and data transfer only, so you must use the three video ports at the back to connect to external monitors. There are two HDMI 2.0 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4. Foundry Most users will want to have the external screens showing a different image on each in what is known as Extended Mode, but you can also set the external screens to show the same image, which can be useful for meetings, classrooms or public viewing. For all three displays the two HDMI ports support 4K at 60Hz, and the DisplayPort capable of 8K at 60Hz. Two-monitor configurations will be either both at 4K/60Hz or one at 4K/60Hz plus the other at 8K/60Hz. The HDMI ports don’t support 5K or 6K resolutions but do support 8K monitors at 30Hz when only one display is connected, although you’d probably choose to use the DisplayPort at 8K/60Hz. One downside to DisplayLink worth noting is that it doesn’t support HDCP (copy-protected) content playback from streaming services such as Netflix, Prime Video, iTunes and Disney+ and even YouTube TV, including on the computer’s own built-in screen. This is true of all DisplayLink docks and not just this one. Illusion of power This dock has an impressive armory of charging ports at the front, including an almost unprecedented three 100W USB-C ports. The three legacy USB-A ports at the back are puny in power terms with a possible output of just 4.5W, but that’s quite normal for the legacy format. Also at the back is the upstream/host connection that can passthrough 140W to the MacBook, which is as fast as it gets. So far, so great. The three 100W ports gives you options but the overall total power output of the dock is just 160W. If the upstream port is at full throttle to the laptop, a mere 20W is available for all the other ports. Having three 100W ports is therefore surely overkill without more available power for the dock as a whole. The dock doesn’t come with an external power supply unit (PSU) and comes instead with a cable that plugs straight into a power socket, but inside the dock must reside something that limits the potential power coming out. The highest PSU we’ve seen on a dock is CalDigit’s 330W PSU on its TS5 Plus dock and some others do reach 240W, with 180W as the average for docking stations. With Anker’s established reputation in the charging market and the an unmatched three 100W ports, this lack of overall power from the dock is surprising, and rather disappointing. It is all the more surprising given than its stablemate, the Anker 6-port Prime Charger uses a similar power connection and has a total output of 250W in a body a third the size of the dock. Obviously it lacks the dock’s great video functionality but it proves that the power can get in, just not out. There’s enough power to fast-charge an iPhone or iPad at the same times as powering the MacBook but why offer three 100W ports and a 140W upstream connection on a 160W dock? Simon Jary LAN of opportunity If you want to connect to a wired network for a more stable and faster connection than that offered by Wi-Fi this dock is equipped with a 2.5Gb Ethernet (2.5GbE) port, which represents a theoreticsal 2.5x the speed of regular Gigabit Ethernet (1GbE). Such speedier network connections are fast becoming the norm for modern docks even if take-up in the real world is not yet widespread. To get the full benefit of the 2.5x speed boost your network needs to be at least 2.5GbE—but even if your network is still rated at Gigabit Ethernet the faster variants are backwards compatible. This means the dock is ready for you when your home or office network does catch up. Card readers There are two card readers—one SD and one microSD—for adding inexpensive portable storage, although they are rated at a relatively slow 104MBps compared to the 312MBps card readers found on many other docks (or the 250MBps reader on the MacBook Pro). If you’re not in a blind hurry to get data off the cards and into your Mac, this doesn’t matter but you probably wouldn’t want to run files from your cards at that speed. Anker Design and display The Anker Prime 14-in-1 Triple Display DisplayLink Docking Station is a good-looking horizontal aluminum case that measures 7.7 x 3.6 x 1.9 inches (19.5 x 9.2 x 4.7cm). Where this dock differs from most is its informative front smart display showing real-time connection status, resolution, and refresh rate signals for HDMI and DP ports. The color display measures 2.05 x 0.85 inches (5.2 x 2.2cm). Simon Jary You control the display using the side-mounted knob (pictured above), which also works as the dock’s power button. The information is probably more than most users require but it is useful with the three powerful USB-C ports—except for the fact that they are weakened by the dock’s below-average power supply. Anker Dock Manager You can download the Anker Dock Manager desktop application that allows you to manage the dock (and other supported Anker devices), update firmware and troubleshoot issues using the built-in support and feedback tools. The app also allows you to see basic display configuration settings and the same real-time port charging status, HDMI/DisplayPort connection details, and network status that is possible from the smart display. Simon Jary Price The Anker Prime 14-in-1 Triple Display DisplayLink Docking Station is reasonably priced at $299.99 / £299.99. If you prefer Thunderbolt connections or require four external displays, consider the Satechi Thunderbolt 4 Docking Station with DisplayLink. If you need five external displays you need to get your hands on the Plugable UD-7400PD Docking Station. If you need only two or even three external displays, you can also look at our other recommended DisplayLink docks for cheaper options. Should you buy the Anker Prime 14-in-1 Triple Display DisplayLink Docking Station? The Anker Prime Docking Station offers up to three external displays at appealing resolutions and refresh rates, which should be more than enough for mere mortals, plus a generous six USB ports and a fast wired network connection. We like the smart display and 2.5Gb Ethernet but in other areas the dock’s specs look under-powered. We’d be more enthusiastic about the three 100W USB-C ports if the dock’s power supply offered more than 160W in total. The 140W to the MacBook is top end but you simply can’t run all the ports at max power or anywhere close at the same time. This dock is a solid choice if you want to connect three displays using dedicated video ports, but the lack of overall power makes the other attractive elements—three 100W ports and smart display—almost redundant. Give it a decent 240W power output and we’d rate this dock much higher.02:07 pmHere’s everything new Apple TV has coming in December

Macworld December is usually a slower month for Apple releases. We typically get new update to our operating systems, but it’s not full of major new features. Most of the time, any hardware that hasn’t shipped by the end of November is just going to wait for release the next year. Such is the case this year, where Apple is likely done releasing new hardware, but has some nice OS updates in store for us. Here’s what we expect from Apple in December 2025. Likely no new hardware Last month, Apple was reportedly planning at least three more hardware releases this year: A new HomePod mini, a 2nd-generation AirTag, and a fourth-generation Apple TV 4K. New Apple products in December are incredibly rare, but don’t forget, the AirPods Max dropped on December 8, 2020. So while it is certainly possible that any of those could drop just before the holidays, it’s not very likely. We’ll probably see all three in early 2026. The second-gen AirTag would be nice to get before all that holiday travel, though. Apps and software updates The OS 26.2 releases once again focuses on polish and quality-of-life improvements. There are auto-generated chapters in Podcasts, updated sleep score ranges, a Liquid Glass Measure app, and more in iOS 26.2. But it’s the new Edge Light feature in macOS 26.2 that has us the most excited about this update. Apple will probably release these 26.2 updates in the second week of December, and begin the 26.3 beta tests around the same time. We don’t expect big changes in that update, either—it’s the 26.4 update that is supposed to have the new Siri we’re all waiting for. Services Apple TV+ Here are the shows, series, and movies we expect to release on Apple TV+ in TK. If you want to know what’s coming later, check our guide to upcoming Apple TV+ content. The First Snow of Fraggle Rock: The Fraggles eagerly await the first snow of the season and all the traditions it brings, but when only a single snowflake arrives and Gobo can’t write the yearly holiday song everyone is expecting, the season is thrown off course. December 5 F1: The Movie: Apple’s most successful movie stars Brad Pitt as an aging driving that needs to lead an F1 team to victory. After its big theatrical release several months ago, it starts streaming on Apple TV in December. December 12 Born to Be Wild: From first steps to first hunts, follow six rare baby animals as they learn survival skills and bring hope for the future of their species in the wild. December 19 Apple Arcade Apple releases most Apple Arcade games on the first Friday of each month. Check our Apple Arcade FAQ for a full list of Apple Arcade games and more details on the service. Occasionally, games are released with no forewarning, but you’ll usually see next month’s releases listed in the Coming Soon section. PowerWash Simulator: The megahit PC power-washing game (yes, really) comes to mobile. December 4 SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit 2: A side-scrolling platform game starring everyone’s favorite sponge. Whether you’re looking for a deal on an iPad, Mac, iPhone, Apple Watch, AirPods, or anything else Apple sells, there’s no better time to get one for cheap than Black Friday. The annual shopping extravaganza officially kicked off on Friday, but many of the best deals will last until today, AKA Cyber Monday on December 1. Every retailer that sells Apple gear gets in on the fun, and we are rounding up only the best deals we find right here. We regularly check prices using various tools to get a view of the very best prices right now, compared to what they were over the past days, weeks, and months, so we know an excellent deal when we see it. We’re checking and updating these prices all weekend, so mark this page and return often so you don’t miss a good deal, some of which are short-lived. Even Apple runs its own Black Friday shopping event, where it offers gift cards on certain purchases, including $50 with AirPods Pro 3, $100 for iPad Air, and $250 with a MacBook Pro. The bottom line is that there are lots of deals to be found right now, so no matter what Apple device you’re looking for, you will be able to make a saving. So take a look at the deals on all of Apple’s products below. Also, check our Best Picks round-ups, where you can find reviews of all the products we recommend. How we pick the best Apple deals At Macworld we’ve been covering and reviewing Apple and Apple devices for more than 40 years, from the original Macintosh to the most recent M5 MacBook Pro and iPhone 17 lineup. We use Apple products every day and purchase them with our own money, so we know a good deal when we see one. More importantly, we also know how to spot a bad deal. With a working knowledge of everything Apple sells and decades of experience, we know when stores are inflating prices or pushing “normal” sales as limited Black Friday deals, so the listings you see here will only be for discounts that are at or near all-time low prices. Macworld Cyber Monday tip: While shopping during the Black Friday sales, we’ve noticed that on Amazon, if you delay your delivery date, there are additional 2-3% savings to be had. This doesn’t apply to every Apple product, unfortunately, but we have seen the additional 3% applied to AirTags, and if you have lots of other eligible products in your shopping cart, then it can add up to decent savings. Cyber Monday/Black Friday MacBook Air and MacBook Pro deals Apple released the new M5 MacBook Pro in October, but still sells M4 Pro and M4 Max models as well as the M4 MacBook Air. The new M5 model is mostly a chip refresh, but it’s a great one, as we said in our 4.5-star review, and right now you can get $250 off all the 14-inch M5 MacBook Pro at Amazon, taking it $50 lower than last Thursday and down to the lowest price we have seen. However, even though the new model brings a major boost in GPU and SSD performance, we also loved the M4 model, and you can get an amazing $300 off the M4 MacBook Pro at Amazon. There are also some excellent deals on the even more powerful MacBook Pro M4 Pro and M4 Max, which are full on workstations now at amazingly low prices, such as $300 off the 14-inch M4 Pro MacBook Pro at Amazon, and a whopping $500 off the 16-inch M4 Max MacBook Pro, also at Amazon. You can find more deals below. And, of course, the MacBook Air is a fantastic option for just about anyone, earning an extremely rare 5-star score in our testing. You can get $250 off the MacBook Air at Amazon. U.K. shoppers don’t miss out either, with £184 off a 13-inch MacBook Air at Amazon. £200 off the M5 MacBook Pro at KRCS, and £349 off the M4 Pro MacBook Pro at Amazon. See even more great deals below. We loved the new Mac mini design and M4 chip and there is $120 off at Amazon. The Mac mini M4 Pro version is a great low-cost way to get a really powerful Mac, and with $150 off it’s a good saving (but it was $200 earlier in the Black Friday sale). We don’t know when they will be getting M5 chips, but if they are, they won’t arrive until 2026, so we recommend picking up one of these deals if you’re looking for a Mac desktop. U.K. users should take advantage of £100 off the Mac mini, and £130 off the Mac mini pro. Simon Jary / Foundry U.S. Amazon, M4 Mac mini (256GB): $479 ($120 off, MSRP $599) Amazon, M4 Mac mini (24GB RAM, 512GB): $869 ($130 off, MSRP $999) Amazon, M4 Pro Mac mini (24GB RAM, 512GB): $1,249 ($150 off, MSRP $1,399)* Amazon, M4 iMac (8-core GPU, 256GB): $1,149 ($150 off, MSRP $1,299) Amazon, M4 iMac, 10-core GPU, 256GB): $1,349 ($150 off, MSRP $1,499) Apple, $100 gift card with Mac mini Apple, $120 gift card with iMac U.K. Amazon, M4 Mac mini, 256GB/16GB RAM, £499 (£100 off, RRP £599) BLACK FRIDAY DEAL Amazon, M4 Mac mini, 512GB/16GB RAM, £699(£100 off, RRP £799) Amazon, M4 Mac mini, 512GB/24GB RAM, £899 (£100 off, RRP £999) Amazon, M4 Pro Mac mini, 512GB/24GB RAM, £1,269 (£130 off, RRP £1,399) Apple, £80 gift voucher with Mac mini KRCS, M4 iMac (8-core GPU, 256GB/16GB RAM), £1,169 (£130 off, RRP £1,299) KRCS, M4 iMac (10-Core GPU, 256GB/16GB RAM), £1,349 (£150 off, RRP £1,499) KRCS, M4 iMac (10-Core GPU, 512GB RAM) £1,529 (£170 off, RRP £1,699) Apple, £120 gift voucher with iMac Cyber Monday/Black Friday AirPods deals Apple released the AirPods Pro 3 in September 2025, with a slightly new design, foam-infused eartips, and a heart-rate sensor. We gave them a near-perfect score in our review, but also noted that it’s a relatively small upgrade over the AirPods Pro 2, which has the same H2 chip and many similar features. The new model has the same $249 MSRP in the U.S. and a slightly lower £219 RRP in the U.K. (AirPods Pro 2 were £229), so keep that in mind when shopping. We don’t expect to see AirPods Pro 3 with more than $30-$50 off, but the older AirPods Pro 2 did dip as low as $139 at Walmart, but that deal seems to have ended now, the next best option is $189 on Amazon. The AirPods 4 have been out for over a year, but are still a fantastic pair of earbuds. The Black Friday deals of $69 for AirPods 4 was superb, but stock seems to have run out now (check to see if the model is user). You can still get AirPods 4 with active noise cancellation for less than $100, which is an excellent deal. If you need a pair, grab one, just beware that AirPods deals sell out quickly, but do keep checking because stock seems to come and go. See more U.S. AirPods deals below. U.K. readers can save money on the AirPods Pro 2, currently at £169 with Argos, but we’ve also seen them at that price on Amazon (but they go out of stock quickly!). Right now you can also get £20 off the AirPods 4, bringing the price under £100. See more U.K. AirPods deals below. Petter Ahrnstedt U.S. Amazon, AirPods Pro 3: $220 ($29 off, MSRP $249) Amazon, AirPods Pro 2: $189 ($10 off, MSRP was $249, now $199) Walmart, AirPods 4: $79 ($50 off, MSRP $129) Amazon, AirPods 4 (with ANC): $99 ($100 off, MSRP $179) Apple, $25 gift card with AirPods 4 or ANC Apple, $50 gift card with AirPods Pro 3 U.K. Amazon, AirPods 4: £99 (£20 off, RRP £119) BLACK FRIDAY DEAL Amazon, AirPods 4 (with ANC): £149 (£20 off, RRP £169) BLACK FRIDAY DEAL Argos, AirPods Pro 2 (USB-C case): £169 (£30 off, new RRP £199) Amazon, AirPods Pro 3: £219 (£0 off, RRP £219) Apple, £20 gift voucher with AirPods 4 or ANC Apple, £40 gift voucher with AirPods Pro 3 Cyber Monday/Black Friday Apple Watch deals Mike Sawh Apple launched the Apple Watch Series 11 in September, but there aren’t many exclusive new features beyond better battery life and 5G networking. The two new health features, hypertension alerts and Sleep Score, are also available on the Series 10, and there isn’t a new color this year. As we noted in our review, we don’t think Series 9 or 10 users need to upgrade. We are seeing savings of $60 on the Series 11, which is a great price for such a full-featured watch, but with $150 off the Series 10 you might want to consider that, you won’t miss out on much (See our comparison of every Apple Watch). The sleeper hit of the new Apple Watch lineup is the SE 3, which got the biggest update of all three models, gaining an always-on display, temperature sensor, a faster chip, on-device Siri, and fast charging. We gave it a near-perfect score of 4.5 stars and highly recommend it at full price—for $50 off, it’s a no-brainer decision. At the high end, the Ultra 3 has a slightly larger screen, satellite connectivity, and longer battery life compared to last year’s model. We’ve seen $150 off, but if you want one, we’d recommend this $599 deal on the Ultra 2 instead. U.S. Amazon, Apple Watch Series 11 (42mm): $339 ($60 off, MSRP $399) Amazon, Apple Watch Series 11 (46mm): $369 ($60 off, MSRP $429) Amazon, Apple Watch SE 3 (40mm): $199 ($50 off, MSRP $249) Amazon, Apple Watch SE 3 (44mm): $229 ($50 off, MSRP $279) Amazon, Apple Watch Ultra 3: $699 ($100 off, MSRP $799)* Apple, $50 gift card with Apple Watch SE 3 and Series 11 Walmart, Apple Watch Series 10 (46mm): $279 ($150 off, $429 MSRP) Amazon, Apple Watch Ultra 2: $599 ($200 off, MSRP $799) CYBER MONDAY DEAL U.K. In the U.K. the deals are small on the newest Apple Watch models, but we anticipate that they will improve once Black Friday is here. And if they don’t our advice would be to snap up Apple’s offer, which will get you a £40 gift card. The biggest deals on offer right now are on the older models. We’d recommend Argos’s £200 off the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Curry’s £130 off the Apple Watch Series 10. Just keep in mind that in the U.K., Apple cut the Apple Watch Series 11 and Ultra 3 prices by £30 and £50 compared to the previous generation when they were introduced. Keep this in mind when shopping, because some stores might make savings appear to be larger than they actually are. Amazon, Apple Watch Ultra 3: £719 (£30 off, RRP £749) Amazon, Apple Watch SE 3 (40mm): £199 (£20 off, RRP £219) Amazon, Apple Watch SE 3 (44mm): £229 (£20 off, RRP £249) Argos, Apple Watch Ultra 2: £599 (£200 off, RRP was £799, Ultra 3 is £749) Currys, Apple Watch Series 10 (42mm): £279 (£120 off, was £399, Series 11 is £369) Currys, Apple Watch Series 10 (46mm): £299 (£130 off, was £429, Series 11 is £399) Apple, £40 gift voucher with Apple Watch SE 3 and Series 11 Cyber Monday/Black Friday iPad deals Apple updated the iPad Air with an M3 chip and the iPad Pro with an M5 chip this year. Neither update brings any huge reason to upgrade, but they’re both excellent tablets. It comes down to preference and budget—if you’re largely using your tablet for consumption (streaming, surfing, games), get an Air, for which we are seeing prices cut by $150, but if you have real work to do on it, get the Pro: you can get $100 off the M5 iPad Pro in the U.S. which is a great deal on such a new device. The mini hasn’t had a meaningful update in a couple of generations. But as we noted in our review, it’s still the best tablet for its size and a great option for anyone who values ultra portability over screen size. There’s a decent $100 off. The standard entry-level iPad A16 is an absolute steal at its Black Friday price of $275, but stock is dwindling, so if you want one act fast. Foundry U.S. Amazon, iPad (A16, 256GB): $275 ($74 off, MSRP $349)* Amazon, iPad mini (A17 Pro, 128GB): $399 ($100 off, MSRP $499)* Amazon, 11-inch M3 iPad Air (128GB): $449 ($150 off, MSRP $599) Amazon, 13-inch M3 iPad Air (128GB): $649 ($150 off, MSRP $799) Amazon, 11-inch M5 iPad Pro (256GB): $899 ($100 off, MSRP $999) Amazon, 13-inch M5 iPad Pro (256GB): $1,199 ($100 off, MSRP $1,299) Apple, $100 gift card with iPad Air Apple, $50 gift card with iPad and iPad mini Amazon, 11-inch M4 iPad Pro (512GB): $1,099 ($100 off, MSRP $1,199)* Amazon, 13-inch M4 iPad Pro (256GB): $1,199 ($100 off, MSRP $1,299)* U.K. We’re seeing a great £100 saving on the iPad Air, but the deals on the other iPads in the U.K. aren’t as big as they are in the U.S. The M5 iPad Pro only has a small saving, so right now we are looking at the older models to get a better discount. With that in mind, we’d recommend the M4 iPad Pro if you can find one (it’s £206 off at Amazon, but selling out fast). KRCS, 11-inch M5 iPad Pro (128GB): £979.02 (£20 off, RRP £999) KRCS, 13-inch M5 iPad Pro (128GB): £1,273 (£26 off, RRP £1,299) Amazon, iPad (A16, 128GB): £299 (£30 off, RRP £329)* Amazon, iPad (A16, 256GB): £399 (£30 off, RRP £429) Amazon, iPad mini (A17 Pro, 128GB): £449 (£50 off, RRP £499) Amazon, 11-inch iPad Air (M3, 128GB): £499 (£100 off, RRP £599) BLACK FRIDAY DEAL Amazon, 11-inch iPad Air (M3, 256GB): £579 (£100 off, RRP £699) BLACK FRIDAY DEAL Amazon, 13-inch iPad Air (M3, 256GB): £799 (£100 off, RRP £899) BLACK FRIDAY DEAL Amazon, 11-inch M4 iPad Pro (2TB): £1,941 (£258 off, RRP £2,199) BLACK FRIDAY DEAL* Apple, £80 gift voucher with iPad Air Apple, £40 gift voucher with iPad and iPad mini Cyber Monday/Black Friday Apple TV deals Apple has a great deal on for Black Friday that will run through to December 1, 2025. Get Apple TV for $5.99 a month Get Apple TV for £4.99 a month There is also an Amazon Prime Video deal gets you 6 months of Apple TV for $5.99/£4.99 per month, instead of the usual $12.99. Read more here: Get Apple TV for just $6 per month. Cyber Monday/Black Friday iPhone deals David Price / Foundry Most iPhone deals in the U.S. are through carriers and require a trade-in or adding a new line. Carriers will likely have enticing deals with trade-ins as well, but be wary of long-term contracts and terms. One opportunity worth considering is Apple’s Black Friday deal: You can buy an iPhone from Apple and get a gift voucher: Apple, $75 gift voucher with iPhone 16 or 16 Plus Apple, $50 gift voucher with iPhone 16e In the U.K. there are less limitations on the sale of iPhones so you will be able to pick one up unlocked at a discount if you would prefer to buy an iPhone up front, rather than on a contract. Apple only launched the iPhone 17 lineup in September, so it’s a surprise that we are seeing £100 off the iPhone Air. The iPhone 16e also has £100 off at Amazon: a good saving. Also be on the look out for deals (like this one from AO) on the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max which are no longer sold by Apple but would offer a good option to those who appreciate the extra camera on the Pro iPhone models but can’t stretch to the iPhone 17 Pro. We’d suggest that when it comes to the other deals you should weigh them up against Apple’s own giveaway, where you could get £60 or £40 vouchers with the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus, or iPhone 16e, respectively. For example, £100 off an iPhone 16e is better than Apple’s £40 voucher, but AO’s £55 off iPhone 16 (128GB) (which has run out now) doesn’t match Apple’s £60 voucher deal so it would be worth waiting to see it that goes lower. These are the best deals we’ve seen so far: Amazon, iPhone Air (256GB): £899.10 (£100 off, RRP £999) Amazon, iPhone 16e (128GB): £499 (£100 off, RRP £599) Amazon, iPhone 16e (256GB): £599 (£100 off, RRP £699) Amazon, iPhone 16e (512GB): £799 (£100 off, RRP £899) Apple, £60 gift voucher with iPhone 16 or 16 Plus Apple, £40 gift voucher with iPhone 16e Black Friday/Cyber Monday Apple accessories deals There are lots more Apple products you can buy to go with your new Mac, iPhone, or iPad. Whether it’s a mouse and keyboard for your Mac, an Apple Pencil or keyboard cover to go with your iPad, charging cables and adapters, we are keeping track of everything so you can grab a discount this Cyber Monday. It’s a great time to grab a pack of AirTags, with prices dropping to $65 or £74 for a pack of four of Apple’s tracking devices. And we are seeing some nice price cuts on Apple Pencils (just make sure they work with your iPad first). The Apple Pencil Pro ($34 off/£20 off) is the newest model and is compatible with the iPad Pro, iPad Air, and iPad mini. Thiago Trevisan/Foundry U.S. Amazon, Apple Pencil Pro: $95 ($34 off, MSRP $129)* Walmart, Apple Pencil USB-C: $49 ($30 off, MSRP $79) Amazon, Magic Keyboard for 11-inch iPad Air(M2/M3): $229 ($40 off, MSRP $269) Amazon, Magic Keyboard for 13-inch iPad Air(M2/M3): $300 ($19 off, MSRP $319) Amazon, Magic Keyboard for 11-inch iPad Pro (M4/M5): $249 ($50 off, MSRP $299) Amazon, Magic Kayboard for 13-inch iPad Pro (M4/M5): $280 ($69 off, MSRP $349) Amazon, Magic Keyboard Folio for iPad: $199 ($50 off, MSRP $249) Amazon, AirTag (4-pack): $63 ($36 off, MSRP $99) Amazon, AirTag (single): $18 ($11 off, MSRP $29) Amazon, Apple USB-C Charge Cable (2m): $18 ($11 off, $29) Apple, $25 gift card with iPad keyboards or Apple Pencil Pro U.K. Amazon, Apple Pencil Pro: £99 (£20 off, RRP £129) BLACK FRIDAY DEAL Amazon, Apple Pencil USB-C: £59 (£20 off, RRP £79) BLACK FRIDAY DEAL Amazon, Magic Keyboard: £75 (£24 off, RRP £99) BLACK FRIDAY DEAL Amazon, Magic Keyboard with Touch ID: £129 (£20 off, RRP £149) Amazon, Magic Keyboard with Touch ID & Numeric Pad: £159 (£20 off, RRP £179) Amazon, Magic Mouse (white): £59 (£20 off, RRP £79) BLACK FRIDAY DEAL Amazon, AirTag (4-pack): £74 (£45 off, RRP £119) BLACK FRIDAY DEAL Amazon, AirTag (single): £24.69 (£10 off, RRP £35) Apple, £20 gift card with iPad keyboards or Apple Pencil Pro Beats and other deals for Black Friday/Cyber Monday 2025 If it doesn’t have to be AirPods, take a look at these deals on Apple owned subsidiary Beats. Black Friday is gone, but the Cyber Monday deals have arrived. If you’ve been waiting to buy a new iPad, there’s never been a better time. Literally. Every tablet Apple sells has hit an all-time low price in the 2025 Black Friday sale, with savings of up to $150 off brand-new models. Want to see all the best Apple deals in one place? Check out our round-up of the Best Cyber Monday Apple deals. Also check our Best Picks round ups where you can see reviews of all the products we rate as a good purchase. And if you aren’t sure which iPad to buy read our Best iPad buying guide. How we pick the best iPad deals Macworld knows iPads. Our editors have used and reviewed every major iPad release and nearly every generation over the past 15 years, and have a working knowledge of all models, features, and specs. We buy iPads ourselves and track price drops all throughout the year, so we can tell the difference between a legitimate Cyber Monday deal and one that’s disguised to look good. We have a working knowledge of each model’s all-time low and make our recommendations accordingly. Best Cyber Monday/Black Friday 2025 iPad deals In the U.S., all of Apple’s iPads have hit their all-time low over Black Friday 2025, including the new M5 iPad Pro, which launched in October, has already received its first-ever discount: a massive $100 off. We gave it a 5-star review as it is undoubtedly the best tablet on the market, but if you own an iPad Pro M4 or are looking at a deal on one, we suggest that it’s not a huge update from the older model, so deals on the older model are worth considering, although these were $150 off, but have now dropped to $100 off. There is also a decent $100 off the iPad mini as well as $150 off the iPad Air. The standard entry-level iPad A16 was an absolute steal at its Black Friday price of $279, but the price has now gone up to $309, which is a good deal but not a great one. U.S. Amazon, iPad (A16): $309 ($40 off, MSRP $349) Amazon, iPad mini (A17 Pro, 128GB): $399 ($100 off, MSRP $499) Amazon, 11-inch M3 iPad Air (128GB): $449 ($150 off, MSRP $599) Amazon, 13-inch M3 iPad Air (128GB): $649 ($150 off, MSRP $799) Amazon, 11-inch M5 iPad Pro (256GB): $899 ($100 off, MSRP $999) Amazon, 13-inch M5 iPad Pro (256GB): $1,199 ($100 off, MSRP $1,299) Apple, $100 gift card with iPad Air Apple, $50 gift card with iPad and iPad mini Amazon, 11-inch M4 iPad Pro (512GB): $1,099 ($100 off, MSRP $1,199)* Amazon, 13-inch M4 iPad Pro (256GB): $1,099 ($200 off, MSRP $1,299)* U.K. In the U.K. we’re seeing a £100 saving on the iPad Air, which is an excellent deal, but the deals on the other iPads in the U.K. aren’t as big as they are in the U.S. There’s now £50 off the iPad mini, which just about beats Apple’s £40 gift voucher deal. The M5 iPad Pro only has a small saving, so right now we are looking at the older models to get a better discount. With that in mind, we’d recommend the M4 iPad Pro if you can find one (it’s £206 off at Amazon, but selling out fast). KRCS, 11-inch M5 iPad Pro (128GB): £979.02 (£20 off, RRP £999) KRCS, 13-inch M5 iPad Pro (128GB): £1,273 (£26 off, RRP £1,299) Amazon, iPad (A16, 128GB): £299 (£30 off, RRP £329)* Amazon, iPad (A16, 256GB): £399 (£30 off, RRP £429) Amazon, iPad mini (A17 Pro, 128GB): £449 (£50 off, RRP £499) Amazon, 11-inch iPad Air (M3, 128GB): £499 (£100 off, RRP £599) BLACK FRIDAY DEAL Amazon, 11-inch iPad Air (M3, 256GB): £579 (£100 off, RRP £699) BLACK FRIDAY DEAL Amazon, 13-inch iPad Air (M3, 256GB): £799 (£100 off, RRP £899) BLACK FRIDAY DEAL Amazon, 11-inch M4 iPad Pro (2TB): £1,941 (£258 off, RRP £2,199) BLACK FRIDAY DEAL* Apple, £80 gift voucher with iPad Air Apple, £40 gift voucher with iPad and iPad mini How to get the best iPad deals for Black Friday/Cyber Monday 2025: Our Advice Britta O’Boyle If you’re not sure which model is right for you, read our in-depth iPad buying guide. Here’s a quick overview of Apple’s lineup: iPad: Apple updated its cheapest iPad in 2025 with an A16 chip and twice the storage (128GB) of the previous model. At $349, it’s already a fantastic value, but the Black Friday $274 price put it in impulse-buy territory. iPad mini: The iPad mini was updated in October 2024 with an A17 Pro processor, 8GB of RAM, and twice the storage (128GB). It regularly drops to $399, which is what we’re seeing for Cyber Monday as well. iPad Air: Apple updated the iPad Air with an M3 processor in 2024, but left it otherwise unchanged. It still comes in two sizes, 11 inches and 13 inches, and has the same gorgeous design. We saw price cuts as high as $150 off for Black Friday, and the Cyber Monday sales we’ve tracked so far match that. iPad Pro: The iPad Pro was updated in October with an M5 processor, but nothing else has changed. So we recommend looking for significant savings on the M4 model (and we are spotlighting them above when they appear). iPad Accessory Black Friday/Cyber Monday 2025 deals Mahmoud Itani / Foundry Black Friday and Cyber Monday are a great time to find deals on iPad accessories, including the Apple Pencil (which you can get for less than $50!). U.S. Amazon, Apple Pencil Pro: $99 ($30 off, MSRP $129) Walmart, Apple Pencil USB-C: $49 ($30 off, MSRP $79) Amazon, Magic Keyboard for 11-inch iPad Air(M2/M3): $229 ($40 off, MSRP $269) Amazon, Magic Keyboard for 13-inch iPad Air(M2/M3): $300 ($19 off, MSRP $319) Amazon, Magic Keyboard for 11-inch iPad Pro (M4/M5): $249 ($50 off, MSRP $299) Amazon, Magic Kayboard for 13-inch iPad Pro (M4/M5): $280 ($69 off, MSRP $349) Amazon, Magic Keyboard Folio for iPad: $199 ($50 off, MSRP $249) Amazon, AirTag (4-pack): $63 ($36 off, MSRP $99) Amazon, AirTag (single): $18 ($11 off, MSRP $29) Amazon, Apple USB-C Charge Cable (2m): $18 ($11 off, $29) Amazon, Apple MagSafe Charger (1m): $31 ($8 off, MSRP $39) Apple, $25 gift card with iPad keyboards or Apple Pencil Pro U.K. It’s a good time to buy Apple accessories like the Appel Pencil and keyboards in the U.K. You can also get four AirTags for £74, which is £18.50 each. Every year, Apple holds a shopping event from Black Friday to Cyber Monday. However, Apple rarely discounts its products and the event consists of gift card offers rather than actual savings. The Apple Black Friday shopping event for 2025 has been announced, and the iPad Air, iPad mini, and standard iPad are all included. It’s no real surprise that the M5 iPad Pro is excluded, as it was just released in October. You can get a gift card for $100/£80 with the Air and $50/£40 with the other iPads. And for help deciding which iPhone to buy take a look at our iPhone Buying Guide and iPhone Comparison chart. How we choose these iPhone deals We track prices at major U.S. and U.K. retailers and carriers and feature the best deals on current models (no old iPhones) that at least match Apple’s own Black Friday offer (up to $75/£60 gift card with the iPhone 16, or $50/£40 with iPhone 16e). We only feature deals from trusted retailers and carriers, and ensure we read the fine print so there aren’t any tricks. The deals are reviewed often to make sure they are still available, with expired or sold-out models annotated or removed. iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro: Are there deals? In the U.S. the networks will offer you various incentives to sign up for an iPhone 17 or 17 Pro/Pro Max: AT&T does have a Black Friday exclusive on the iPhone Air where you can get it for less than $3 a month. Verizon‘s Black Friday deal includes an iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPad and Apple Watch Series 11. T-Mobile‘s Black Friday deal is a saving on a iPhone 17 Pro, iPad A16 and Apple Watch SE 3 bundle, details here. In the U.K. there are no discounts on the price of the iPhone 17 or 17 Pro/Pro Max, but you can save £100 on the price of the iPhone Air. Amazon, iPhone Air (256GB): £899 (£100 off, RRP £999) The best savings are on the iPhone 16e which we detail below. You should also consider Apple’s offer of Gift Vouchers with purchases of the iPhone 16e, 16 and 16 Plus. Best U.S. iPhone deals for Black Friday/Cyber Monday 2025 Grab an iPhone this Black Friday.Eugen Wegmann These are Apple’s iPhone offers for Black Friday: $75 gift card with iPhone 16 or 16 Plus $50 gift card with iPhone 16e Best U.S. iPhone carrier deals for Black Friday/Cyber Monday 2025 In the U.S., most of the deals come from carriers and carry a bunch of strings—trade-in requirements, new lines, and discounts offered as bill credits over two or three years: AT&T: You can get up to $1,100 off the iPhone 17 Pro when you trade in an eligible iPhone. The savings transform into monthly credits on your bill for the next 36 months. AT&T also has a Black Friday exclusive on the iPhone Air where you can get it for less than $3 a month. T-Mobile: The carrier offers the iPhone 17 or iPhone 17 Pro or iPhone Air for free if you either switch to T-Mobile or trade in a qualifying phone, as long as you’re on a qualifying Experience Beyond plan. The phone is paid through 24 monthly bill credits. T-Mobile’s Black Friday deal is a saving on a iPhone 17 Pro, iPad A16 and Apple Watch SE 3 bundle, details here. Verizon: Get an iPhone 17 or iPhone 17 Pro free with trade in and certain Unlimited plans. This phone is paid through 36 monthly bill credits. Verizon’s Black Friday deal includes an iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPad and Apple Watch Series 11. U.S. Cellular: Up to $1,100 off iPhone 17 Pro (or any other iPhone) with a new line and qualifying plan. This phone is paid through 36 monthly bill credits. Xfinity Mobile: If you trade in a qualifying phone you can get up to $1,100 off a new iPhone 17 series model until Dec. 2. Paid as 24 monthly bill credits with a 24-month contract. Boost Mobile: You can get $850 off the price of the iPhone 17 with Boost’s $65 per month plan. Best U.K. iPhone deals for Black Friday/Cyber Monday 2025 David Price / Foundry These are Apple’s iPhone deals for Black Friday: £60 gift card with iPhone 16 or 16 Plus £40 gift card with iPhone 16e In the U.K., there are fewer limitations on the sale of iPhones, so you will be able to pick one up unlocked at a discount if you would prefer to buy an iPhone up front, rather than on a contract. As long as you don’t mind the fact that this iPhone only has one rear camera, we recommend the £100 off iPhone 16e deal at Amazon, in particular the £599 deal on the 256GB model. The newest iPhone to get a cut-price deal is the iPhone Air, which has £30 off. Also be on the look out for deals (like this one from AO) on the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max which are no longer sold by Apple but would offer a good option to those who appreciate the extra camera on the Pro iPhone models but can’t stretch to the iPhone 17 Pro. Amazon, iPhone Air (256GB): £899 (£100 off, RRP £999) Amazon, iPhone 16e (128GB): £549 (£50 off, RRP £599) Amazon, iPhone 16e (256GB): £599 (£100 off, RRP £699) Amazon, iPhone 16e (512GB): £799 (£100 off, RRP £899) Amazon, iPhone 16 (128GB): £649 (£50 off, RRP £699) Apple, £60 gift voucher with iPhone 16 or 16 Plus Apple, £40 gift voucher with iPhone 16e We’d suggest that when it comes to the other deals you should weigh them up against Apple’s own giveaway, where you could get £60 or £40 vouchers with the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus, or iPhone 16e, respectively. For example, £100 off an iPhone 16e is better than Apple’s £40 voucher, but AO’s £55 off iPhone 16 (128GB) doesn’t match Apple’s £60 voucher deal so it would be worth waiting to see it that goes lower. How to get the best iPhone deals for Black Friday 2025: Our Advice Apple is offering a $75/£60 gift card with the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus, and $50/£40 with the iPhone 16e, you should make sure that any offers you see beat those prices. Black Friday can be a good time to get a deal on an older iPhone, such as the iPhone 16 Pro or Pro Max which are now discontinued. These will be worth grabbing if you see them at a good price. iPhone 17: Apple only launched the iPhone 17 lineup in September so we don’t expect to see big discounts, other than the typical “free iPhone as bill credits over several years with a qualifying plan” deals that are always on offer in the U.S. iPhone 16: Shoppers should look out for discounts on the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus, but note that Apple has already cut prices by $100/£100. Also note that Apple no longer sells the 512GB versions of these handsets, so if you find those models on sale at a good price we recommend buying them. Similarly, if you see the now discontinued, iPhone 16 Pro or Pro Max on sale at a good price then these would be a good purchase. iPhone 16e: The price of the iPhone 16e will likely drop. This is Apple’s ‘budget’ handset so it already has a low price though so don’t expect huge additional savings. We don’t recommend any iPhones older than the ones above, especially not the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus which are not Apple Intelligence compatible. iPhone headphones deals for Black Friday 2025 Foundry Many of the best deals are going to be on iPhone accessories—cases, chargers, cables, and the like. There are way too many such products to keep track of, and many small discounts come and go throughout the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale. We highlight only the most interesting bargains; products that are rarely discounted or exceptionally good prices on accessories we recommend. Apple’s Black Friday ‘deal’ takes the form of gift card offers, rather than actual savings. This year, you can get an iPhone 16 or 16 Plus with a gift card worth $75/£60, or an iPhone 16e with a gift card worth $50/£40. The deals over the past few years show that Apple’s offer this year is right in line with the offers from previous years. We recommend the deal, especially in the U.S. where iPhones don’t tend to get price cuts. For U.K. readers the Apple voucher prices are a good indication as to how much money off an iPhone would be considered a good deal. 2025202420232022iPhone 16 & Plus$75–––iPhone 16e$50–––iPhone 15–$75––iPhone 14–$50$75–iPhone 13––$50$50iPhone SE–$25$25$50 Get Apple's Black Friday offer (U.S.) Get Apple's Black Friday offer (U.K.) Black Friday 2025: Best deals for Apple products Check out these roundups for the best Apple deals: Apple Black Friday sale details Best Black Friday Apple deals Best Black Friday MacBook & Mac deals Best Black Friday AirPods deals Best Black Friday Apple Watch deals Best Black Friday iPad deals
