- 06:37 pmThis Apple cable is better than any USB-C cable in your drawer, and it’s nearly half off
Macworld Apple Thunderbolt 4 Pro 1m Cable View Deal (function () { document.querySelector("#sticky-promo-block a").addEventListener("click", function(e) { const debug = document.location.host.search(/lndo.site|go-vip.net/) !== -1; const text = this.closest("#sticky-promo-block").querySelector("p.promo-title").textContent; const data = { event: "stickyConversionUnitClick", eventCategory: "Sticky Conversion", eventAction: "Click", eventLabel: text }; if(debug)console.log("Sticky Conversion CLick - pushing to dataLayer: ", data); dataLayer.push(data); return true; }); })(); You might think all USB-C cables are the same, but they’re not. And today’s deal might look like any old Apple USB-C cable, but it’s actually one of the fastest you can buy, and Woot is selling them for a mere $37 each, an absolutely fantastic saving of $22 and the best price we’ve ever seen. This is the cable Apple made for super-fast connections. It supports Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4, and USB 4 with data transfers up to 40Gbps. If you’re not pairing it up with USB-4 devices, it scales back to USB 3 speeds of up to 10Gbps. The cable can also handle video output and charges at up to 100W. Basically, this one simple cable can connect an M5 MacBook Air or MacBook Pro to a Studio Display or Pro Display XDR, power it, and move files at full speed, all at once. Of course, just because Apple made this cable, it doesn’t mean you can’t use it with non-Apple gear. Compatibility is broad, as it will work with Mac, iPad, docks, external hard drives, and iPhone 15 Pro, as well as pretty much any other TB4 devices. Apple cables rarely see discounts like this. At $36.99, this is a reliable, long-lasting upgrade that handles the connections that matter most. Woot deals are only available for a short time, or until stock runs out, so you’d better hurry up. Since Woot is an Amazon company, your Prime benefits transfer over, so you could get free shipping on your order.06:37 pmHulu app will be shut down after Disney+ transition, per leaked file

Macworld AI is going to be the prevailing theme at WWDC26 on June 8, and a new report provides a sneak peek at the new AI-based Siri. But while Siri is certainly the star, the report also provides details on iOS 27’s new Camera app as well. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the Camera app is getting the Siri treatment and will replace the current Visual Intelligence implementation, which is currently a separate action triggered by the Camera Control button. Within the Camera app, users will be able to select between “Photo,” “Siri,” and “Video,” and the Siri option uses an AI agent to analyze the picture you shot, or you can submit your photo in a Google reverse image search. Gurman said that this new implementation is an attempt to “increase adoption and help acclimate users to visual AI” ahead of Apple’s upcoming AirPods with cameras and rumored smart glasses. Users who make as much use of the Camera app as they can will appreciate the new ability to customize the UI. As previously reported, the Camera app will now support Widgets with a new panel to let users swap out the default controls for more detailed settings used by professional photographers. Widgets include controls such as depth of field, timers, and photographic modes such as Night mode. The Camera app in iOS 27 will allow for quicker access to deeper controls that more experienced photographers use.Bloomberg The Photos app is getting an AI boost, as well. As previously reported, a new Reframe feature will change the perspective of a shot, while Extend can be used to generate AI portions within an existing image. For example, Extend can, say, fill in part of a building that was not in the original shot. Apple is expected to provide a full preview of iOS 27 at WWDC on June 8.
