Macworld Should you update to iOS 27? iOS 27 will be worth upgrading for users who want a much smarter Siri, AI-powered photo tools, stronger security and faster everyday performance. iPhone 15 Pro and newer owners will benefit most from Apple Intelligence features. The biggest caveats are EU launch restrictions for Siri AI and limited advanced AI capabilities on older iPhones. Apple has revealed what’s coming in its annual iPhone software update later in 2026, but should you actually install iOS 27 when it arrives? While iOS 26 introduced headline features such as the Liquid Glass redesign, Call Screening and Apple Intelligence tools, iOS 27 focuses on refining the experience with a smarter Siri, faster performance, stronger security and more powerful AI features. Macworld Baseus PrimeTrip VR2 Max Car Charger 163W View Deal (function () { document.querySelector("#sticky-promo-block a").addEventListener("click", function(e) { const debug = document.location.host.search(/lndo.site|go-vip.net/) !== -1; const text = this.closest("#sticky-promo-block").querySelector("p.promo-title").textContent; const data = { event: "stickyConversionUnitClick", eventCategory: "Sticky Conversion", eventAction: "Click", eventLabel: text }; if(debug)console.log("Sticky Conversion CLick - pushing to dataLayer: ", data); dataLayer.push(data); return true; }); })(); Baseus’s 164W retractable car charger is on sale for $36 right now, which is 28 percent under its $50 MSRP. It’s not a huge price to begin with, and at $36, it’s an easy upgrade over the tangle of loose cables most cars end up with. There are quite a few reasons why you’ll want this charger over other car chargers. First of all, it comes with not one, but two retractable USB-C cables, which is amazing because that allows you and your passenger to recharge devices. With magnetic storage that snaps them into place, they’re super easy to handle without risking taking your eyes off the road. Both cables have a total length of 31.5 inches and have been “tested to endure over 10,000 smooth pulls and retractions,” and the whole thing rotates vertically and horizontally to limit any snags or tangles. Second of all, this may be a car charger, but it can push quite a bit of power. The primary USB-C port pushes a full 67W, which is enough to fast-charge your MacBook Air, not just top off a phone. So if you work from the road or need your device ready before you reach your destination, this can actually make it happen. On top of the two built-in cables, there are also two extra ports, one USB-C and one USB-A. When all four are in use, one cable will retain that 67W power, while the second will be limited to 33W. The C-port also caps at 33W, and the USB-A goes as high as 30W. In total, you have 163W of power, which is more than most wall chargers we have at home. At $36, this Baseus car charger is an easy pick if you’re tired of loose cables in the car and want one gadget that can even fast-charge your laptop.01:17 pmiOS 27: Find My adds new ways to hide your location, more

Thank goodness for Siri AI, because if the only updates with macOS Golden Gate were the other ones shown at WWDC, this would be the weakest release in history.Apple's macOS Golden Gate really only brings one new feature to the Mac, but it's the mostly superb Siri AI.As it is, the new macOS Golden Gate is a significant and even dramatic update, but solely because of how useful Siri AI is. True, there is more to the update than Apple said, but all it mentioned was a Liquid Glass refinement, improved curves on windows, and a reworking of the sidebar. If that sounds like only an incredibly little difference from macOS Tahoe, it's actually even smaller than you think. That Liquid Glass refinement is a slider to let users control how translucent it is, but it works across such a narrow range that it's not worth bothering with.
