Apple rarely discounts its own products–even during its annual Black Friday shopping event, which runs from Black Friday to Cyber Monday it elects to give out gift cards rather than actual price reductions. However third-party retailers such as Amazon and Best Buy have deals on Apple products all year long. So if you want a new Apple device right now, there are plenty of discounts worth grabbing. In this article, you’ll find the top discounts we’ve seen. Plus, for even more deals, we’ve linked to our dedicated deals round-ups for each product category. Apple does offer year-round discounts to students, including a Back To School event where further-education students can get free AirPods or an Apple Pencil when purchasing certain Apple products from Apple. Apple’s higher education deal runs for about three months and will be starting in Australia, New Zealand and other southern hemisphere countries in January, and running in the rest of the world in June/July 2026. 1. There’s also the Apple Refurbished Store where you can sometimes grab a bargain. How we pick the best Apple deals At Macworld we have been covering Apple products for over 40 years, we have extensive experience reviewing every major Apple product generation, we use Apple devices daily, and we purchase them with their own money. As a result, we have firsthand knowledge of what are the best Apple products to buy and what price would be considered good value. We also consider if a discount on an older model is truly worthwhile compared to the features of a newer one. In addition, we use specialised tools to monitor prices and see the best Apple deals at various resellers in both the U.S. and U.K. All this informs our recommendations and helps us filter out poor offers. Use the table of contents above to jump to the best deals right now for the Apple product you want to buy. Best AirPods deals The AirPods Pro 3 are out, but you can often pick up a deal on the AirPods Pro 2Foundry Apple released the AirPods Pro 3 (review) in September 2025, with a slightly new design, foam-infused eartips, and a heart-rate sensor. We gave them a near-perfect score in our review, but also noted that it’s a relatively small upgrade over the AirPods Pro 2, which has the same H2 chip and many similar features. Our recommendation is to look out for deals on the AirPods Pro 2, which are listed at $199/£199, compared to the AirPods Pro 3 which are $249 /£219. We’ve seen the AirPods Pro 2 drop to $169, and a low of $139 over Black Friday! Even at $169 that’s a good price though. The AirPods 4 (review) have been out for more than a year, but are still a fantastic pair of earbuds with or without ANC (active noise cancellation). They lack some of the AirPods Pro features, but are a good option if you are on a budget. We thought the deals would be over after Black Friday, but Amazon still has the AirPods 4 (ANC) for $99 so grab them while you still can! U.S. Amazon, AirPods Pro 2: $199 ($50 less than AirPods Pro 3) Amazon, AirPods 4 (with ANC): $99 ($79 off, MSRP $179) Amazon, AirPods Max: $499 ($50 off, MSRP $549) U.K. Amazon, AirPods 4: £99 (£20 off, RRP £119) Amazon, AirPods 4 (with ANC): £149 (£20 off, RRP £169) See our guide to which AirPods to buy and our comparison of the AirPods and AirPods Pro. Best iPhone deals You can save money on an iPhone if you know where to shop.Foundry | Alex Walker-Todd First up, some bad news if you are in the U.S. Most iPhone deals in the U.S. are through carriers and require a trade-in or adding a new line. Carriers will likely have enticing deals with trade-ins, but be wary of long-term contracts and terms. In the U.K. there are less limitations on the sale of iPhones, so you will be able to pick one up unlocked at a discount if you would prefer to buy an iPhone up front to use with an existing contract. Apple only launched the iPhone 17 lineup in September, but during Black Friday we were seeing £100 off the iPhone Air, that’s now dropped to £31 off. The iPhone 16e also had £100 off at Amazon over Black Friday and now has £50 off. These are the best deals we’ve seen so far: Amazon, iPhone Air (256GB): £969 (£30 off, RRP £999) Amazon, iPhone 16e (256GB): £649 (£50 off, RRP £699) See our iPhone buying advice and our Best iPhone chart, and check out our best iPhone deals roundup. Best iPad deals Get more for your money with an on-sale iPad.Dominik Tomaszewski/IDG Apple updated the iPad Air with an M3 chip (review) and the iPad Pro with an M5 chip (review) in 2025. They’re both excellent tablets, and any buying decision comes down to preference and budget—if you’re largely using your tablet for consumption (streaming, surfing, games), get an Air, but if you have real work to do on it, get the Pro. We’re seeing $100 off both the Air and Pro right now, so grab a bargain from the list below while you can. As we noted in our review of the iPad mini, it’s the best tablet for its size and a great option for anyone who values ultra portability over screen size. There’s $75 off at Amazon. The standard entry-level iPad A16 (review) is the cheapest iPad you can buy new, and it lacks a lot of the features of the other iPads, but if you are on a budget it’s a good option, especially while there is $70 off off at Walmart. U.S. Amazon, 11-inch M5 iPad Pro (512GB): $949 ($100 off, MSRP $1,199) Amazon, 13-inch M5 iPad Pro (256GB): $1,199 ($100 off, MSRP $1,299) Amazon, 11-inch M3 iPad Air (256GB): $599 ($100 off, MSRP $699) Amazon, 13-inch M3 iPad Air (256GB): $800 ($99 off, MSRP $899) Walmart, iPad (A16, 128GB): $274 ($70 off, MSRP $349) Amazon, iPad mini (A17 Pro, 512GB): $724 ($75 off, MSRP $799) U.K. KRCS, 11-inch M5 iPad Pro (128GB): £979 (£20 off, RRP £999) KRCS, 13-inch M5 iPad Pro (128GB): £1,273 (£26 off, RRP £1,299) Amazon, 11-inch iPad Air (M3, 256GB): £579 (£120 off, RRP £699) Amazon, 13-inch iPad Air (M3, 256GB): £799 (£100 off, RRP £899) Amazon, iPad (A16, 256GB): £399 (£30 off, RRP £429) Amazon, iPad (A16, 512GB): £579 (£50 off, RRP £629) Amazon, iPad mini (A17 Pro, 256GB): £544.97 (£54 off, RRP £599) See our buying guide for picking the best iPad for you and our dedicated round-up of the best iPad deals. Best Apple Watch deals Don’t pay full price for an Apple Watch. Jason Cross/IDG Apple launched the Apple Watch Series 11 (review) in September 2025, but there weren’t many new features beyond better battery life and 5G networking. The two new health features, hypertension alerts and Sleep Score, are also available on the Series 10, so if we see a deal on the older model we’ll flag it below. The true hit of the 2025 Apple Watch lineup is the Apple Watch SE 3 (review), which got the biggest update of all three models, gaining an always-on display, temperature sensor, a faster chip, on-device Siri, and fast charging. We highly recommend it even at full price. At the high end, the Ultra 3 (review) has a slightly larger screen, satellite connectivity, and longer battery life than previously, but if we see a good deal on the Ultra 2 we will highlight it as a good alternative. U.S. Amazon, Apple Watch Series 11 (42mm): $329 ($60 off, MSRP $399) Amazon, Apple Watch Series 11 (46mm): $360 ($69 off, MSRP $429) Amazon, Apple Watch SE 3 (40mm): $199 ($49 off, MSRP $249) Amazon, Apple Watch SE 3 (44mm): $229 ($50 off, MSRP $279) Amazon, Apple Watch Ultra 3: $780 ($20 off, MSRP $799) Walmart, Apple Watch Series 10 (42mm) GPS: $249 ($150 off, was $399) U.K. In the U.K., Apple Watch Series 11 and Ultra 3 prices were cut by £30 and £50, respectively, compared to their predecessors. Keep this in mind when shopping, because some stores might make savings appear to be larger than they actually are. AO, Apple Watch Series 11 (42mm): £349 (£20 off, RRP £369) Amazon, Apple Watch Series 11 (46mm): £379 (£20 off, RRP £399) Amazon, Apple Watch Ultra 3: £719 (£30 off, RRP £749) KRCS, Apple Watch SE 3 (40mm): £215 (£4 off, RRP £219) Argos, Apple Watch Ultra 2: £599 (£200 off, RRP was £799, Ultra 3 is £749) Currys, Apple Watch Series 10 (42mm) GPS: £279 (£120 off, was £399, Series 11 is £369) Currys, Apple Watch Series 10 (46mm) GPS: £299 (£130 off, was £429, Series 11 is £399) See our comparison of every Apple Watch for help deciding which one to buy and our dedicated round-up of the best Apple Watch deals Best MacBook deals Save money on a MacBook Pro or MacBook Air.Foundry Apple released the new M5 MacBook Pro in October 2025, but still sells M4 Pro and M4 Max models. The new M5 MacBook Pro (review) was mostly a chip refresh, but it was a good one. We’ve already seen decent savings. From time to time we see good savings on the older M4 MacBook Pro, so we’ll highlight those deals if and when we see them. We are expecting Apple to update the MacBook Pro M4 Pro and M4 Max with M5 Pro and M5 Max chips in the spring, if you don’t want to wait for that update, there are also some excellent deals on the current models, which means you can get full on workstations at amazingly low prices, we will highlight deals below. And, of course, the MacBook Air M3 (review) is a fantastic option for just about anyone. Even better if you get a discount. Best Mac desktop deals Grab a deal on an iMac.Simon Jary / Foundry The Mac mini M4 (review) last received an update in October 2024, with the Mac desktop getting a dramatic redesign that shrunk the case down to just 5 inches. The Mac mini M4 Pro version is a great low-cost way to get a really powerful Mac, and when you can get a good deal it’s worth grabbing. We don’t know when the Mac mini will be getting M5 chips, but that could happen before the middle of 2026. The iMac M4 (review) was also updated in October 2024 and at the time we said it might be the best iMac ever. Despite reports that Apple TV was in talks to buy Warner Bros whole library, the venerable film studio has been bought by Netflix.HBO Max will now be owned by Netflix if the deal meets regulatory approvalFrom its start in 2019, a criticism of Apple TV has been that its catalog of films and TV shows is minuscule compared to rivals such as Disney+ and Netflix. It was constantly rumored to be looking to buy a library of films, and in October 2025, Warner Bros executives were said to be talking with it and others. At that point, Warner Bros had reportedly rejected bids from Paramount Skydance, leaving Apple TV, Netflix, Comcast, and Amazon in the running. Macworld When announcing the iPhone 17 Pro lineup, Apple highlighted the usual upgrades like design refinements, a faster chip, and, of course, the new Cosmic Orange color. But I bought a silver iPhone 17 Pro Max instead of orange, and after spending two months with it, the obvious things aren’t the ones I appreciate most. Instead, these are three upgrades that still surprise me months later. Zoom zoom! Apple surprised the world when it added a second lens to the iPhone 7 Plus for 2x optical zoom. It didn’t take long for smartphones with multiple lenses to become standard in the industry. However, as time went on, competitors ended up introducing phones with much greater zoom range than the iPhone. The iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max already had a telephoto lens capable of taking photos and filming videos with 5x optical zoom. I particularly love using this lens as it gives photos a more professional look, especially when it comes to portraits. I also like having the best zoom for plane spotting. The iPhone 17 Pro’s 48MP telephoto lens lets you zoom in up to 8x without losing detail, even in low light. With the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max, Apple switched up the telephoto camera. Instead of a 5x 12MP lens, the telephoto camera now has a 48MP sensor with 4x optical zoom. While the drop from 5x to 4x may sound like a downgrade at first, I ended up loving the change. First, the new sensor is much larger, 56 percent larger, to be exact. A larger sensor captures much more light, resulting in more detail and less noise, especially in low light. Telephoto photos taken at night are noticeably better compared to those taken with the iPhone 16 Pro camera. At the same time, I feel that the 4x versus 5x zoom makes it possible to use the telephoto lens on more occasions. With the iPhone 16 Pro Max, I had to move much further away from the subject to use the telephoto lens. The 4x camera is more suitable for portraits. The 4x zoom is powerful enough for most situations, and can get you great angles without you having to get closer to the subject. Also, because the sensor now has 48 megapixels, Apple has come up with a cool trick. Essentially, the Camera app can crop the image from the sensor to capture photos and videos with 8x zoom at 12 megapixels. The result isn’t perfect, but it’s decent enough to capture things that are far away. This is probably the camera I use most on my iPhone, and the photos and videos I’ve taken so far are simply stunning. It didn’t seem like much at the time, but Apple made the right upgrades with the iPhone’s telephoto lens. Super selfies It had been a while since the iPhone’s front camera had received any major upgrades, but that changed with the iPhone 17. All new models in the lineup got a new square-shaped sensor that takes 18MP photos, versus 12MP on the old one. The first thing I noticed is that selfies taken with the new camera have a bit more detail, especially when you zoom in. But the real difference comes when night falls. The new sensor performs significantly better in low-light scenarios. That alone makes the upgrade worthwhile for creators. But there’s something else that made me love the new selfie camera on my iPhone 17 Pro Max. Apple significantly upgraded the selfie cam on the iPhone 17 this year.Foundry As I reviewed here previously at Macworld, the new square-shaped selfie camera sensor also enables a new feature that lets users reframe the photo in portrait or landscape orientation without actually having to rotate the phone. Essentially, you can take a photo from four different perspectives from the same angle. This is also great for vloggers, as the feature works for videos as well. This means you can hold your phone vertically, which is much more comfortable and natural, and still shoot videos horizontally. It’s especially useful on the iPhone 17 Pro Max due to its extra-large screen and body. Cool under pressure The iPhone 17 Pro is the first iPhone with a redesigned cooling system that includes a vapor chamber. You can’t see it, but you can definitely feel the difference, especially if you use your phone heavily and are coming from an older iPhone. In short, a vapor chamber is essentially a thin sheet of metal with a liquid inside. When the phone heats up, the liquid instantly evaporates, helping to spread the heat throughout the chamber. The first advantage, of course, is the fact that the phone no longer gets extremely hot in your hands. This was something that bothered me in previous generations of the iPhone, and I’m glad Apple has fixed it. But I also get better sustained performance, as the phone doesn’t need to throttle the speed of the CPU and GPU to prevent overheating. This means I no longer experience any lag on your phone, even when playing 3D games or editing videos. The iPhone 17 Pro’s new vapor chamber does a remarkable job keeping things cool.Apple Small upgrades that make a difference After two months, these are the upgrades that continue to shape my experience with the iPhone 17 Pro Max in ways I didn’t fully expect. The new telephoto lens gives me more flexibility and better zoom, the selfie camera finally feels like a real step forward for creators, and the vapor chamber quietly transforms how fast, cool, and consistent the phone feels during long sessions. None of these changes sound as exciting as a brand new design or hot new color, but they’re the kinds of upgrades that actually matter when you use your iPhone every day. And in a year when many people say smartphones are becoming “boring,” the iPhone 17 Pro lineup proves there’s still room for improvements that make the experience better in invisible ways.10:15 amiPhone Air resale value declines dramatically, according to SellCell study
