At only 3.3 inches tall, it is much smaller than the full-size HomePod, but you can still use it to ask Siri questions. Like any speaker, it can also play music, though not in home theater mode.In terms of hardware, the HomePod mini hasn't seen any updates since its launch, unless you count color changes. It's been suggested that a successor product is in the works, and in October 2025 we also saw claims of dwindling stock. Macworld The iPhone Air was released over a month ago, and several reports have said that Apple’s thinnest and lightest iPhone isn’t catching on with customers. Apparently, the situation has deteriorated to a point now that, according to The Information, Apple decided not to move ahead with an update to the iPhone Air that was scheduled for release in 2026 alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and the rumored foldable iPhone. It is being reported that iPhone Air production lines are being reduced by Apple supplier, Foxconn, and production may stop altogether at the end of this month. Another Apple supplier, Luxshare, reportedly stopped iPhone Air production last month, with no sign of rescheduling, The Information reports. Apple has been looking for an iPhone model that complements the standard and pro models, but its offerings have not met expectations. The iPhone Plus, a larger version of the standard iPhone, reportedly did not catch on with customers. The iPhone Air replaced the Plus with a new, slim profile that generated a bit of hype, but it has also been met with a lukewarm sales reception. The iPhone Air is perceived as essentially half of the foldable phone Apple is expected to release next year. Foldable phones address a niche market, and it remains to be seen if a foldable iPhone can perform in the role that Apple hoped the iPhone Plus and iPhone Air would.
