Palm saw its market share fall from 52.1 percent a year ago to 41.3 percent in Europe this year, despite shipping 347,000 units in the first quarter — a 38 percent increase over last year. Handspring made it to sixth place with 7.2 percent of the market, according to News.com.

The group claims to have defaced 1000 U.S. Web sites, thus achieving their goal. Hostilities began after U.S. hackers broke into Chinese sites following the American-Chinese plane collision last month.
