All Media 2001 took place yesterday in Brazil, giving Apple a chance to showcase the superiority of their products. The one-day event, which is the first for Apple in Brazil, demonstrated the advantages of using the Mac for communication, video, graphic design, Web, DVD, networking and more. Also on full parade was Mac OS X, of course.

Apple has opened a new area of their Web site to display the goings on at WWDC, their annual Worldwide Developers Conference in Cupertino, California. From here you can see pictures and movies, as well as a ton of information about the event.

Software & Hardware Tracker, a collection of FileMaker Pro 5 databases for storing registration codes, serial numbers, etc. on your computer products, has been updated to version 4.0.6. This release resolves some minor issues found in previous versions.

The Mac Show, an Internet-based live radio show focusing on all things Mac, has announced their guest lineup for tonight’s broadcast (9:00-11:00 pm ET). Tonight’s guests include Keith Hutchinson, Freehand 10’s Product Manager; Apple’s very first retail customer, Chris Barylick; and John Welch, who is at WWDC and will provide a report. Oh – and there are loads of prizes being given away, so be sure to tune in.

After the resignation of the company’s CEO, Iomega saw their stock drop by 20 percent today, according to The Nando Times. Bruce Albertson resigned citing differences between his and the board of directors’ goals for the company.
