Business Week reports on new Apple Store
An article posted on Business Week’s Web site takes a look at the hubbub surrounding the launch of Apple’s new retails outlet in McLean, Virginia. “Make no mistake: The first-ever Apple store has all the panache consumers come to expect from the clear iMac and titanium PowerBook. Design has always been Apple’s forte. Now if Steve Jobs can just sell some computers,” concludes the report.

We noted last week that Apple will be exhibiting at Newstec 2001 — the UK’s largest publishing event. Apple UK has further details on their participation in the show, which runs from May 21-23 in Brighton, England at the Metropole Hotel. Apple says “We’ll be demonstrating the Mac as the hub of a newspaper workflow and showcasing our industry-leading solutions for the print, pre-press and advertising industries.” The company will be in booth 8020.
