Corel to Deliver Tools for Mac OS X

Corel Corporation has announced that it will be launching a full complement of design tools for Mac OS X this summer and fall. Products included in the rollout are KPT 6, Bryce 4, Corel Painter 6 and Corel KnockOut 1.5. The products will be available when purchasing hardware from the Apple online store. This special promotion will be followed this summer and fall with the launch of Mac OS X optimized applications, Bryce 5, Corel Painter 7, CorelDRAW 10 for Macintosh, Corel KnockOut 2 and KPT 7.

OS X at WWDC

Writing for eWeek, longtime Mac journalist Matthew Rothenburg, takes a minute to review what’s happening for Mac OS X and Mac OS X server at WWDC. Macintosh Internet Explorer 5.1 Preview Release updated for X

Microsoft today has updated their WWW Browser for Mac OS X — Internet Explorer 5.1 preview release. The new browser offers improved reliability, better download support, contains user interface and Aqua improvements, better printing support and has updated support for Flash, Shockwave and QuickTime plug-ins. The software — at the moment — is offered exclusively through Apple’s Software Update Control Panel.
