EarthLink launches radio feature, but not for Macs

EarthLink, Apple’s exclusive North American ISP partner, has teamed up with RadioCentral to launch EarthLink Radio, a new service that allows users to listen to “the same popular music found on many of America’s top radio stations.” The service requires no proprietary software and functions directly in a browser — provided you’re running Windows. At present, there is no Mac support, although RadioCentral says it is “working hard” to support all operating systems in the future.

Apple partners with ISP in the UK

MacUser UK is reporting that Apple has announced a deal with Thus plc, making Demon the “exclusive UK Internet Service Provider available via Apple’s Internet Setup software.” Reuters is also carrying a report, quoting Bill Allan, Chief Executive of Thus as saying “Teaming up with Demon will allow Apple’s UK customers to get the most from their Macs, whether for personal web browsing or running their businesses.”
