Sharp has begun shipping an 18-inch LCD monitor, the LL-T1810A, according to Macworld UK. The monitor features a contrast ration of 350:1 (identical to Apple’s 17″ Studio Display LCD), offers seven language choices for the onscreen display, and ships with a three-year warranty. The LCD is priced at £1,399; there’s no word on pricing for other countries yet.

Aspyr Media today announced that it has begun shipping Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 for the Mac. The highly anticipated title has won several accolades on the PC and PlayStation side. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 is also among the first games to ship Carbonized for Mac OS X. The game is available for US$39.95.

Apple took home four awards last night at the British Design & Art Direction 2001 Awards. Apple’s Pro Mouse took home the gold in the Products for Work category, while its Pro Speakers, Pro Mouse, and G4 Cube took home silvers in the same category.
