Bare Bones Software today released Super Get Info 1.0.1, an update to their utility for Mac OS X that supplements the “Show Info” command. This release offers a number of new features including more efficient tiling of multiple Info windows, the ability to apply ownership and access permission changes to all items within a folder and much more. Super Get Info is US$20 — a fully-functional demo version which expires after 14 days is also available.

A recent Apple support bulletin provided to service providers in the US and Canada notes that a “small number” of AirPort base stations with serial numbers PW940XXXXXXX to PW952XXXXXX may exhibit a problem that not even a hard reset can fix. The symptoms include “continuously blinking status lights, no response to wired or wireless connections, and resetting every few seconds.” No information regarding the issue is available on the Web, although owners of defective base stations can call Apple to receive a replacement, even if the product is out of warranty.

While Adobe will not be exhibiting at Macworld Expo New York this week, MacMinute has learned that the company will participate in Wednesday’s keynote address. Sources confirm that an Adobe executive will take the stage with Steve Jobs to discuss the company’s plans and progress on OS X-ready applications, which will be accompanied by a demonstration of Carbonized titles currently in the works.

iOrganize 3.5 is a multipurpose notepad application that also offers a contact manager and other features. The new version adds several small enhancements, such as a Print Category command and mouse wheel support under OS X. iOrganize 3.5 is US$15 shareware and is available in Classic and Carbon versions, as well as a French Classic version.
