Apple has updated its retail store page to officially note the opening of a store at the Mall of America outside of Minneapolis, Minnesota on August 11, as we noted two weeks ago.

VersionTracker notes the release of Adobe Premiere 6.0.1, Adobe’s professional video editing tool. This release offers several performance enhancements and bug fixes.

REAL Software has posted REALbasic 3.5b3, the newest public beta of the programming environment for Mac OS and Mac OS X. Beta 3, like other builds of version 3.5, adds countless improvements and bug fixes, all of which are documented here.

A US Court of Appeals has thrown out the patent infringement claims filed against Apple by Imatec over Apple’s ColorSync technology. Imatec had maintained that ColorSync violates patents that have belonged to Imatec since 1992, and was seeking $1.1 billion in damages. In January of 2000, a US court ruled in favor of Apple; Imatec appealed the ruling.
