File Buddy, a high-level file utility for the Macintosh, has been updated. Version 6.1.2 offers a few minor bug fixes and is available for download now.

Strange Flavour has released the first update to their “crazy” arcade game Airburst. Airburst 1.01 adds the ability to change the speed of the players’ bats as, well as a screen compatibility mode so that the game can still be played on monitors that cannot select 800×600 mode.

Our friends at the St. Paul Pioneer Press have provided us with another handful of photos of the Mall of America Apple store, this time of yesterday’s opening day. Meanwhile, MacMinute reader Reid Fitzwater provided us with this opening day look at the store: “Just got back from the Apple Store opening at the Mall of America. I don’t know if you’ve ever been there, but it’s a great big place. The line, when we arrived at 9 a.m., stretched halfway around the mall. Needless to say, I didn’t get a t-shirt.

Apple this morning opened its fourth retail store at the Mall of America, outside of Minneapolis, Minnesota. We posted photos of the store yesterday. Apple has also updated its retail store page to reflect the next Apple store opening on August 25, at the Woodfield Shopping Center in Schaumburg, Illinois.
