AudioBooktoMP3.com has announced Audiobook Converter for Mac 3.8.1, an update of the audiobook DRM removal software for Mac.

The utility is designed to help users remove DRM protection from iTunes M4B audiobooks and Audible AA, AAX audiobooks while while converting the DRM M4B, M4A, AA, AAX audiobook files to unprotected MP3, AAC, M4A, AIFF, AU, M4R and FLAC. It now supports batch audiobook conversion so that you can convert multiple audiobooks with a single button.

Audiobook Converter requires Mac OS X 10.6 or later. It’s priced at US$29.95 for a personal license.

Public Wi-Fi hotspots to reach 7.8 million this year

Worldwide public Wi-Fi hotspot deployments have reached a total of 5.69 million in 2014, and will grow at a CAGR [compound annual growth rate] of 11.2% between 2015 and 2020, according to ABI Research (www.abiresearch.com).

This includes public Wi-Fi hotspots deployed by mobile and fixed-line carriers as well as third-party Wi-Fi service providers. ABI Research expects the number of worldwide carrier Wi-Fi hotspots will reach 13.3 million in 2020.
