Interarchy 5.0 adds OS X compatibility, iDisk-like FTP browsing

Stairways Software has released Interarchy 5.0, a new version of its popular Internet utility. Interarchy 5.0 performs a myriad of tasks, from FTP to trace routes. The new version is Carbonized for Mac OS X and offers a number of new features and improvements, including FTP Disk, which allows any FTP server to be browsed as if it were a local drive (similar to Apple’s iDisk). Interarchy 5.0 is available for US$45.

Appeals court rejects Microsoft delay

A federal appeals court has rejected Microsoft’s bid to delay the government’s antitrust case against the company. The case will now be sent back to a lower court, where a judge will determine what remedies should be taken against Microsoft. For its part, Microsoft maintains that it is open to settling the case outside of court, although the company has vehemently rejected any settlements that involve splitting the company.
