Sony kills eVilla in the US
Sony has announced that it will be pulling its eVilla Internet device from the US market just two months after introducing the product. Sony said the US$499 product failed to meet sales expectations, and is offering to purchase back all the units that were sold. The eVilla online service will be shut down on September 13.

This highly acclaimed game was released for the Macintosh back in May and was among the first games to ship Carbonized for Mac OS X. The download size is fairly hefty for this demo (30.1MB), but by all accounts should be worth it if you want to take the game for a spin.
