Reuters notes a report in the Wall Street Journal’s online edition today stating that Microsoft is drafting a settlement proposal for the U.S. government in hopes of resolving the antitrust suit against them. According to the report, this move by Microsoft is in response to the government’s recent decision not to seek a breakup of the software giant.
