Scholarships announced for FileMaker DevCon 2015

Molly Connolly of Thorsen Consulting and Cris Ippolite of iSolutions have announced a new scholarship opportunity available to FileMaker developers.

The scholarships have been established to encourage FileMaker developers wishing to take advantage of the many professional training and networking opportunities at DevCon (http://www.filemaker.com/learning/devcon/). The scholarship will cover the cost of a full conference pass to DevCon 2015. Connolly and Ippolite will select two developers for the award.

AKVIS announces new Easter Pack for ArtSuite

AKVIS (www.akvis.com) has announced a new frame pack for AKVIS ArtSuite, which lets you decorate their photos with frames and effects.

Extra frame packs can be installed to the program to increase its functionality. The new Easter Pack includes 50 designs. They include eggs, chicks and bunnies, and blooming flowers. You can use these frames to decorate your photos, prepare postcards, and more.

Note that the frame packs can only be used in the AKVIS ArtSuite Standalone program. To add a frame pack to ArtSuite, copy it into a folder selected in the program’s preferences.
