Key3Media Group has announced the keynote lineup for next week’s Seybold event in San Francisco at the Moscone Center. Seybold takes place September 24-28 and executives from Apple, Adobe, Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard and Quark will give presentations. Apple’s vice president of worldwide product marketing, Philip Schiller, will present a special keynote on Tuesday, September 25th at 9:00am.

Palm today announced its first quarter pro forma net loss totaled US$38.7 million, or 7 cents a share and warned that they will not likely turn a profit in the second quarter as previously hoped. In addition, the company said that they are delaying the launch of a new wireless device, which was originally due before the end of this year.

The Apple Developer Connection has published an article by Danny Goodman, of AppleScript and HyperCard fame, on JavaScript event binding. Earlier this month, Goodman wrote a related article comparing Internet Explorer 5 for Mac with the same version for Windows, dissecting the differences in how the two handle JavaScript.
