M-Systems today introduced 64MB and 128MB versions of its DiskOnKey miniature storage device. DiskOnKey is a thumb-sized device that connects to a Mac’s USB port and requires no drivers, providing a quick, portable, and convenient storage medium.

Apple’s signage dispute with the Germantown Design Review Commission persists after the panel rejected Apple’s proposal to illuminate the retail store logo’s edges yesterday, as noted by MacCentral. Apple desires to use internal illumination to the light its logo, which goes against Germantown ordinances, and earlier this week postponed the opening of the store.

Apple and Navarre Corporation today announced a partnership whereby Navarre will supply third-party software to Apple’s retail stores and online store, as well as establishing distribution for new developing Mac publishers. “Mac purists have readily accepted Apple’s new retail strategy and we are ready to fulfill their direct-to-customer orders in the coming months.

ABN AMRO today lowered its price target on Apple from US$25 per share to $20. ABN provided no additional information on the cut. Shares of Apple closed yesterday at $15.54, and have been hovering around a 10-month low recently.
