Macworld UK is reporting that Creativepro.com, founded by Extensis as an e-services provider, has effectively closed its doors due to the softened economy. “Sources close to the company say its employees are on hiatus, and are unlikely to return,” according to the article. Creativepro.com has thus far declined comment on the matter.

Hovercraft game coming to the Mac next year

DreamCatcher Interactive has announced that it will publish a new 3D hovercraft racing game, Fuel, for the Mac, according to MacCentral. The game, in development at Firetoad Software, features both single- and multi-player gameplay and has an optional rendering engine that takes full advantage of NVIDIA’s GeForce3, which provides custom vertex and pixel shader effects that result in more realistic imagery. Fuel is scheduled to be released in Fall 2002.
