Cyber3 ships iBook Tote & Tilt, improves PowerBook version

Cyber3 has begun shipping the iBook Tote & Tilt, a US$39.95 handle that attaches to Apple’s new iBook without voiding the warranty. The Tote & Tilt also serves to angle the rear of the iBook upwards, providing a more comfortable typing position on flat surfaces. The company has also begun shipping an improved version of its $44.95 Tote & Tilt for the PowerBook G4, which better matches the system’s color and now allows the PowerBook’s screen to be angle back up to 135 degrees.

Epson ships new photo printer

Epson today announced the Stylus Photo 820, a six-color, 2880×720 dpi printer with photo-specific features, such as border-free printing and what Epson claims is the best quality from any photo printer in its class. The Stylus Photo 820 replaces the Stylus Photo 780, and offers faster print speeds, including up to 12 pages per minute for black text, and 48 seconds for a 4″x6″ photo. The printer is available now for US$149, before a $50 mail-in rebate.
