Extensis today released Suitcase 10.1, a new version of its font management utility that adds support for Mac OS X. Suitcase 10.1 allows Mac OS X users to view fonts in all Mac OS X font directories, and activate or de-activate fonts in Cocoa, Carbon and Classic applications. The update is available as a free download to Suitcase 10 users; Suitcase sells for US$99.95.

Lexar Media has announced a 16x 640MB CompactFlash media card that will be available in early December for about US$900. The card supports write speeds of up to 2.4MB/sec, which Lexar claims reduces the time for high megapixel cameras to take photos.

Ricoh yesterday announced the Capilo RR1, a 4-megapixel digital camera with a 3x optical zoom, 3.6x digital zoom, 8MB of built-in memory, and a 64MB SmartMedia card. The Capilo RR1 is available now for US$699.
