Tadd Torborg has posted a number of photos from last weekend’s grand opening of Apple’s retail store at the Cambridgeside Galleria in Cambridge, MA.

The Mac Show, an Internet-based live radio show focusing on all things Mac, has announced their guest lineup for tonight’s broadcast (9:00-11:00 pm ET). Tonight’s guests include Alan Oppenheimer and Charles Whitaker, authors of Internet Security for YourMacintosh; tech writer David Pogue; Tom McDonald, Apple’s product manager for Final Cut Pro 3; the usual Tech Tips and Mac Basics segments; and more. The show will also be giving Exhibit, Pro, and User Passes to Macworld Expo.

MacHack has put out its annual call for speakers for the 17th annual MacHack convention, which will take place June 20-22, 2002. The site suggests eight categories that prospective speakers should pick from. Sessions generally run about an hour long and proposals must be received by February 1, 2002, for consideration.

Salon.com has published an article that discusses the current state of Mac games, noting that while many popular titles continue to be released for the Mac months after their Windows counterparts, that the overall Apple gaming market has done well this year and continues to improve.
