Presenta Ltd. has announced the release of iGetter Download Manager 1.6 for Mac OS 7.5.3-9.x and Mac OS X. iGetter serves as a download utility, giving users the ability to resume downloads, offers segmented (accelerated) downloading, provides Internet browser integration, and much, much more. Version 1.6 offers a number of enhancements and improvements over the previous release — all of which are documented at the site.

Mozilla 0.9.7, the “Fizzilla” flavor of Mozilla.org’s Web browser is now available. There are a significant number of changes in this release. Full details are available from the link above. Special thanks to Stephan Juli for letting us know about this update.

Seeing as it is right around the corner, we thought we would mention that Apple’s UK site notes the company’s involvement in BETT 2002, which takes place in London, England from January 9th-12th, 2002. The event, held at London’s Olympia, is an exhibition for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in Education.

Apple’s Hot News page notes that when Nine Inch Nails were getting the show together for their “Fragility” tour, they used Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio Pro to make a DVD from 60 versions of each of the their songs.
