Aliens vs. Predator 2 coming to Mac

MacPlay Wednesday announced Aliens vs. Predator 2 for the Mac, the sequel to the hit first-person shooter featuring a mixture of Fox sci-fi movie stars. Currently scheduled for release in the second quarter of 2002, Aliens vs. Predator 2 lets players take the role of the Alien, Predator or Colonial Marine in 21 single player missions set in three interlocking story lines. The game also features a robust multiplayer mode featuring 12 multiplayer levels and a variety of team and deathmatch game modes.

Eskape Labs demos beta of Mac OS X software

At Macworld Expo, Eskape Labs is demonstrating a beta of its Mac OS X software for its line of video capture and TV tuner devices. Chris Knight, executive vice president of Sales and Marketing, told MacMinute the company hopes to release a final version of the software by March. Furthermore, Knight hinted that Mac OS X opens up new opportunities for the company with regards to hardware and features.
