UK, Ireland Mac OS X Roadshow kicks off next week

Beginning January 23 in London, Apple will be hosting a series of events across the UK and Ireland to showcase Mac OS X and key third-party applications. Each event will consist of two parts: a morning session where Apple and leading developers will demonstrate their software, and an afternoon session that will consist of three one-hour, hands-on seminars where attendees can choose to attend one of six available themes: Audio, Digital Imaging, Design and Publishing, Small and Medium Business, Video and Web Publishing.

Apple appoints Australian ISP partner

Apple and Primus Telecommunications, an Australian Internet Service Provider, today announced a strategic partnership that will make Primus the preferred ISP on all new Macs sold in Australia. The three-year relationship also calls for Apple to feature the Primus logo on boxes and during the registration process, similar to Apple’s partnership with EarthLink in the U.S.

Seapine Software has begun shipping TestTrack Pro 4.5 for Mac OS X, a Web-based defect management solution designed to help software developers easily keep track of defects, feature requests, test configurations, users, customers and more. Client licenses are sold on a per computer or per concurrent user basis; prices vary by the number of licenses purchased. A 30-day evaluation version is also available.
