High-speed access in the air on hold

Many airlines are putting on hold plans to add high-speed Internet connectivity to their planes, according to c|net. Citing the economic effects of the September 11 attacks on the industry, Air Canada, American, United, Delta, and other airlines have lowered the priority for implementing the service, which would account for a large amount of the expected US$70 billion travellers would spend over the next 10 years checking their email or downloading movies from inside the cabin.
