Palm OS 5 announced
PalmSource, the Palm OS subsidiary of Palm, today unveiled Palm OS 5, which features support for ARM processors, backwards compatibility with Palm OS 4 applications, enhanced 128-bit security, multimedia capabilities, and wireless support via Bluetooth and 802.11b. Palm OS 5 is due for release this summer.

NVIDIA plans to officially unveil its GeForce4 graphics card tomorrow during an event in San Francisco, according to c|net. The GeForce4 MX is featured in Apple’s new professional line of Power Mac G4 towers, which were introduced one week ago. NVIDIA also announced that it recently shipped its 100 millionth chip since its founding nine years ago and plans to ship another 100 million over the next two years.
