Apple upgrades WebObjects

VersionTracker notes the release of WebObjects 5.1, a new version of Apple’s Web development software. The upgrade is available for US$19.95 and adds support for JSP Servlet Integration, Enterprise Java Beans, LDAP access, and other enhancements. Handspring lowers Visor prices

Handspring has lowered the price of its Visor Pro and Visor Neo handhelds in North America, after reducing the price of the Visor Edge last week. The entry level Visor Neo now sells for US$169 ($30 reduction) while the 16MB Visor Pro sells for $229 ($20 reduction); the Visor Edge had been reduced from $249 to $199.
