Randy Ubillos to appear at Lacpug on May 27

Randy Ubillos, the former Apple Chief Architect on Final Cut Pro and Final Cut Pro X, is scheduled to appear at the Los Angeles Creative Pro User Group (lacpug) on Wednesday, May 27, at the Gallery Theatre in Hollywood beginning at 6:45 p.m.

This will be the first public appearance for Ubillos in four years. He recently retired from Apple after 20 years. In that time he was chief architect on a wide range of products such as Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Pro X, Aperture, iMovie ’08 through ’11 and iPhoto for iOS. In addition, he also created versions 1 through 4.2 of Adobe Premiere Pro.
