Apple Music strikes deals with independent label organization

Apple has made deals with the independent label’s digital rights organization Merlin and with Martin Mills’ indie powerhouse Beggars Group, reports Billboard (http://bit.ly/1Rw1nhW).

In a letter sent to Merlin members, CEO Charles Caldas writes, “I am pleased to say that Apple has made a decision to pay for all usage of Apple Music under the free trials on a per-play basis, as well as to modify a number of other terms that members had been communicating directly with Apple about. With these changes, we are happy to support the deal.”

Troi Automatisering (www.troi.com) has rolled out updates for Troi Dialog Plug-in and Troi File Plug-in for FileMaker Pro 14.

Troi Dialog Plug-in is a tool for displaying all sorts of dialogs in FileMaker Pro. The text of the dialog and of the buttons can be created dynamically by using a calculation. Version 6.1.1 is a maintenance release.

A demo is available for download. The upgrade to version 6.1.1 is free for all users of version 6.0 and 6.1. The 6.1.1 version works with the 6.0 version of the registration.
