Apple Pay launches today in the UK

Apple Pay, Apple’s mobile payment service, will launch in the U.K. today, marking the first time it will be available outside the U.S.

Many major brands and most big banks have signed up to support the offering, with more than 250,000 locations — ranging from subway stations to supermarkets — ready to accept the service. Now Apple is reportedly working on extending Apple Pay to China, South Korea and Canada.

Zevrix Solutions has announced ArtOptimizer 2.7.7, a compatibility update to its workflow automation solution for Adobe Illustrator.

ArtOptimizer allows users to reduce Illustrator link size and speed up processing by automatically eliminating excess image data and performing essential image adjustments. The new version is compatible with the 2015 release of Illustrator CC.
